Usagi stared up sadly at her Mamo-chan. Tear sprung to her eyes and she tried to blink them back. She gripped his hand tightly and she never wanted to let go, even if her life depended on it. Mamoru was gazing up at the clouds with her, she bit her lip as her tears cascaded down her porcelain pale cheek and she choked back a sob.

She memorized his features and she buried herself in his warm embrace, inhaling his soft scent of crushed roses. She let her tears soak his nice black shirt and he tightened his arms around her. "Usako…" he whispered. Usagi let all her tear roll freely down her cheeks and sobbed softly. He whispered soothing words to her as he rubbed her arms in comfort.

"I'm going to miss you soo much, Mamo-chan" She whispered "Do you have to go?" He stared into her baby blue eyes and wiped way her tears with his thumb. "I'm Sorry Usako. I swear I only will only be gone a couple of months, if it all goes well. I promise!" He placed a light kiss on her soft ruby lips.

Mamoru lifted her to her feet and kneeled down on one knee "Usako, my little bunny." He pulled a little dark blue velvet box. "We have been in love for a millennium or two; I want us to be together forever. So will you do me the honours of becoming my wife?" He held his breath waiting her response.

A fresh batch of tear slid down her cheeks as she jumped into his arm knocking him off his feet and into the dirt. "YES! Oh yes! A thousand yeses!" He smiled brightly as he placed the ring on her finger. It was a cluster of blood red diamonds making look like rose set in a silver crescent moon with a gold band. It took Usagi's breath away as it caught the sunshine rays.

He swooped down on her and caught her in a passionate kiss as the fields of barley swayed in the light breeze of the summer. "I love you, Mamo-chan" "I love you too my little Odango atama" She playfully hit him on the arm for that old nickname. He took her hand and placed a soft kiss on her palm and lead her though the fields of golden barley.
