It was the day of Valentine's Day. Bella was in the kitchen making breakfast for Renesmee and any other wolf that would be coming over during the day… if they even came. Jacob was in the living room watching TV, waiting for Renesmee to come downstairs. Renesmee came running down stairs, excited to see her imprinter. He heard her and looked back, smiling warmly at her.
"Good morning, Ness." He replied hugging her tightly.
"Good morning,Jake!" Renesmee smiled, hugging him back. she loved the warm hugs that he always gave her.
Jacob handed her a rose, smiling. He gave her a small peck on the cheek, whispering in her ear, "Happy valentine's day!"
Bella watches from the kitchen frowning slightly. "He forgot about Valentine's Day."
She sniffs. she would cry if she could. "I thought he loved me."
Edward walked into the house about an hour later from hunting. " Bella, I'm back!"
Bella turns and looks at him. She said stiffly, "hi honey".
Bella turned back to cooking what she was cooking. She was busying herself with work, so he don't notice that she was mad.
Edward looks at Jacob, completely confused about why his wife was acting so weird. Jacob just shrugged. Edward then remembered what today was. He smiled slightly remembering that he had stuff for today all planned out.
"Bella, honey! um... will you go to the store for me? I need you to get a few things."
he handed her a list of things that they don't actually need. But getting her out of the house was necessary to his plan.
Bella looked at him completely confused. "um honey, we went shopping for groceries yesterday. so I think that we are ok until at least Friday."
Edward put his smirk on. "well these are really important items that we really need."
Bella rolled her eyes. "fine I will get your items that are really important."
Bella got ready to leave. Then about an hour later, she left to go to the store.
Jacob chuckled. "well, you almost didn't get away with that!"
Edward rolled his eyes, getting some of the decorations out that he was going to use. Lighting candles, putting rose pestles on the floor. Edward turned to Jacob. "um, Jake would you be on lookout for when Bella pulls into the driveway for me?"
About 3 hours later, Jacob comes running into the house after seeing Bella.
She's here, he thought to edward.
Edward looked out the window seeing Bella walk to the door. He turned to Jake and said, "would you mind taking Renesmee out for a walk or something? please?"
Jacob ran out of the house, taking Nessie with him. Edward beats Bella to the house. Edward opens the door, giving Bella a great big smile. He then covers up Bella's eyes, hearing her scream slightly because of the dark. Edward walks her up the stairs to the kitchen and the living room. Counting down, he uncovers her eyes. Bella gasped. As she sees the scene in front of her, tears build.
"Wow!" she giggled. "It looks amazing, I thought you forgot!"
Edward rolls his eyes. " how can I forget about someone like you?"
Bella laughed. That night young couple celebrated Valentine's Day. Bella never thought that he forgot about Valentine's Day again.
