Tezuka/Fuji, G, sap, ficlet

Underline, Underlying
by Maaya

Fuji with firearms is a very horrifying thought, and Tezuka does mankind a favour by dragging the other boy away from that part of the sports shop.

They end up, rather predictably, in the tennis department of the very same store. It gets the conversation going at the very least, thirty minutes, forty minutes, their excuse is that the shop is huge and the tennis corner large. The personnel are amused. Two boys, just in the right age to have a hobby-turned-obsession-turned-the-most-important-thing-in-the-world; they all think back on the time when they, too, had been able to concentrate so wholeheartedly on something like that.

They aren't wrong. Quite.

("Hm, Tezuka. Let's grab something to eat."

Quiet agreement.

"Ice-cream sounds good. Perfect for a date."

"We aren't dating."

"Mm.")

Fuji returns Tezuka's favour earlier by dragging Tezuka to a café.

Firearms, a lot of tennis, ice-cream and each other throughout it all.

It should make people wonder what really is the most important.
