"Iruka." Kakashi called out to his lover who was in the bathroom brushing his teeth.
"Yeah," he said through the foam that was in his mouth. Kakashi heard the other spit out the contents in his mouth into the sink. The sink ran for a moment, and then after it had been turned off, Iruka had come out of the bathroom. He was shirtless only wearing a pair of blue boxers, and his hair was dripping wet. He had a towel going around his shoulders, probably to dry his hair from time.
Kakashi smiled at his lover who's face was written in concern. "Why do you think god gave us space between our fingers?"
Iruka's eyes shifted up, while his hand rested on his chin. His scarred nose had scrunched up, something it often did while he was thinking. After a moment Iruka looked back at Kakashi and shrugged. "I really don't know, why?"
Kakashi patted a space next to him on the bed. Iruka took it as an invitation to sit, and it was exactly what he did. Kakashi took Iruka's hand gently in his own, and had brought each finger tip to his lips. After he gave each finger tip a delicate kiss, he laced his fingers with Iruka's. "So another person can fill that gaps with their own fingers."
Iruka blushed and smiled at Kakashi. He could be such a sap at times.
