Inspired by Blood of Eden the immortal rules

I glared at them and growled, as I dared them to rush at me has I held my long sharp but thin blade also known as a katana. The shifted in unease the suddenly came and charged me, but I was ready. I dodged the first and brought my katana up to sever the head from the creature as it stopped in mid-air and flopped to the ground. The others which are called rabids surrounded me and hissed in frustration. "Scared?" I taunted while spinning around in place smacking each rabid with my sword.

One by one the rabids dropped dead, cold blood oozing out of their bodies. As I headed away from Eden, I remember what Kanin, my vampire creator told me. His words rang through my mind, 'Sometime in your life, Allison Sekemoto, you will kill a human being. The question is not if it will happen, but when. Do you understand?' Well Kanin honestly I don't know when I no longer will able to kill a human. I walked along the road I had once travelled on, but this time alone.

I had reached the hut where Ruth had been buried. Walking over, I bent over and sat beside the ground and propped my elbow on my knee. "Ruth...I-I'm sorry," I whispered and swallowed a lump in my throat. "That, I couldn't save you. Caleb had seen me crawl out of the ground yelled at me as he begged me to bring you back. Which would have meant to turn you into a... A monster..." I shivered and sobbed the last words out.

I felt like someone was watching me and knew that she was nodding at me. "I am glad you didn't save me, for I would have hated you even more. The reason being I would be a danger to those I loved...Caleb my brother my only living family I know still alive..." There was a long pause until at last she had a hint of sadness in her voice. "And Zeke, who I had wanted to love me since when I met him. Though now I would have caused him more pain by pushing myself on him...So when you ever see them again, tell them I love them." Her voice wavered and her presence started to fade as I nodded promising her I will try my best.

I began to get hotter I gagged, The sun is coming out! I hurriedly dug into the ground and sighed as the cool earthy dirt opened to consume me.

Cold liquid foamed in my mouth as I gagged and tried move my head. It was no use, I figured my head was strapped to a post. I heard hands clapping in the distance and a bright light come on I tried to shy away and close my eyes. A hand opened my eyelids forcing me to look into the searing and blinding light. I begged that this would be the last time that I shall be tortured, so in other words, good luck my young vampires.

I awoke shivering, that dream meant I had very little time left. I raced through the undergrowth of trees and bushes and came skidding at a stop before a huge river awakened below me. Shit! One more second and I would've been carried in that hell of a current. I gasped which I didn't think I could do anymore.
