The voice from the bed was barely a whisper, "Bzzbzzbzz busy little bee."
"Dean?!" Sam slid closer, touching his brother's arm. "Jeez, you scared the hell out of me! Do you remember what happened?"
"Watch your language - hey, think she'd have a drink with me? Where's the barkeep? I could use a drink over here."
The nurse on the other side of the bed looked from one to the other, puzzled and amused. "Uh, is he always like this?"
Sam grabbed the cup of ice chips, sliding a couple into Dean's mouth. "Only when he's on morphine," he grinned.
