Wow, so this one was different to write since it's more Sam-centric and it's from his POV. It's set in 2x08. Right after the incident with Nixon. I love Sam but in this episode I thought he was a serious Asshole. I mean, you think he would have learned after the whole Detective Bibby incident. He was acting like a ass because of his jealousy then too. Sam needs to experience some jealous guilt. Sorry in advance for any mistakes.

The apartment was dark, the lights off. An opened bottle of whiskey sat on the kitchen table, his hand wrapped tightly around it's neck. His cell phone sat next to it, taunting him.
Harshly shoving his chair back, he stood, kicking over his chair.
"Stupid!" He grabbed his glass and through it across the room, calming slightly at the sound of it shattering against the wall. "Stupid!" He slammed his hand against the wall. "Stupid!" Fisting his hand, he pounded wall over and over again. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!"
His chest was heaving with each burning breath. How could he be so stupid? How could he, in a fit of anger, leave her on her own? Nixon could have killed her... if not for Luke.
Today, he had been one thing and one thing only: an asshole.
He was her partner. Partners back each other up no matter what- no exceptions. She may not have always agreed with his methods, but she always had his back.
Maybe he should have learned from the Bibby fiasco. Andy had amazing instinct. Once she finally learned to follow her gut, she was unstoppable. He had to admire her for today. Despite everything that happened between Luke and her and Jo, she listened to Luke, defended him, and nailed the bad guy.
Sam stepped back towards the table, hesitating slightly as he reached for his phone. She was speed dial three, only behind his voicemail and Sarah. He sighed as it began to ring. It seemed he was doing this an awful lot lately.
"Andy? Hey- yeah, no, everything's fine. Look, I have to apologize..."
Hahaha! In your face Sam! Seriously, I love him, but how stupid can you be leaving Andy by herself? She's a magnet for trouble. Pretty please with a cherry on top leave a review. If you do there may be shirtless Sam Swareks in your future!
