"Hazel!" Niall called to me from the back of the biology room as soon as I walked through the door. I rushed over to the seat next to him, shushing him.

He laughed and pulled my desk a bit closer. "Tell me everything." I laughed and waved him away. "It didn't go too well." I glared playfully at him, "He was a bit too loud for my liking." Niall started to say something when Valarie sat heavily in the seat in front of him and turned around to face him, "Hi babe." Niall smiled and leaned forward to plant a quick kiss on her lips.

Valarie is completely Italian. Olive skin, deep brown eyes, and long, thick black hair. It was easy to see why Niall adored her, her personality is even more beautiful than here appearance.

Valarie turned her attention to me. "Did you like him? How was it?" I sighed and shook my head, "Too loud. He reminded me of a puppy. I'm telling you Val, you have to stop setting me up on dates."

She pursed her lips into a thin line. "You just need to open up a bit, Hazel. Maybe you'll find someone who treats you as good as Niall treats me." She ended with a giggle and grabbed his hand from the desk, lacing her thin, tan fingers with his pale ones.

Niall blushed and tucked a stray hair behind her ear, "It be hard to find another couple as great as us." I smiled to myself, loving to see my best friend happy, but a bit jealous that their relationship seemed so easy and perfect. "I wish I could find a guy as amazing as Niall." Valarie's laugh shook me from my thoughts. "I know Hazel. I got lucky with him." A blush crept up my cheeks as I realized I had said the words aloud.

Niall winked at me quickly before leaning foreword to whisper in Valarie's ear, keeping his ice blue eyes on me the whole time.

Niall flirted with me occasionaly, but I know it's just because our friendship is so great. I've never thought of it as anything more than a playful gesture so I didn't feel left out of his life; but sometimes I wish it was more than that.
