Glory could have not been after the key. The monks wouldn't have sent Dawn. Glory wouldn't have been after us. I wouldn't have died.
But such things never could never happen in Sunnydale.
Willow could have not brought me back. The gang would have moved on and raised Dawn. I would have stayed in the warmth of heaven.
But such things could never happens in Sunnydale.
Xander and Anya could have talked. That demon wouldn't have gotten to Xander. He wouldn't have left Anya. She wouldn't have become a vengeance demon again. Spike wouldn't have slept with her.
But such things could never happen in Sunnydale.
Willow could have realized she was going overboard with the magic. She would have gotten better. She and Tara wouldn't have broken up. Tara wouldn't have been in a bullets path. Willow wouldn't have gone dark.
But such things could never happen Sunnydale.
Giles could have stayed, been there for all of us. Things wouldn't have gotten so bad.
But such things could never happen in Sunnydale.
I could have spent more time with Dawn. She wouldn't have felt so alone, wouldn't have made that wish.
But such things could never happen in Sunnydale.
I could have accepted Spike's love. We could have had a relationship. Not whatever the hell we had. I wouldn't have "broken up" with him. He wouldn't have slept with Anya. He wouldn't have tried to do what he did.
I could have been happy.
But such things never happen in Sunnydale, not to me.
