"Shh," Paige whispered, tracing her fingers along Mike's lips, still in disbelief that they were actually in bed together. She had been dropping hints all day and he had the nerve to walk away from her after handcuffing her. So she decided to drop something a little more than a hint and let her towel drop, so there would be no mistaking what she wanted.

Mike wisely ended his call.

Mike shook his head, shifting closer to her. "I'm not the one that needs to be quiet," Mike playfully teased. He rolled them over and settled himself on top of her.

Paige sighed, moving her hand to grip his too short hair as his lips trailed along her neck. She arched into him, exposing more of her neck. "Are you gonna make me scream, Mike?"

"Another time," Mike promised. "I'm not really into having an audience. Maybe you are, but - "

"Shut up." Paige greedily kissed him, eager to lose herself in Mike.

Again.

The reasons she told herself why they couldn't be together didn't apply anymore. This wasn't last summer. Mike wasn't the same rookie, struggling to catch Briggs and looking to her to anchor him. He was different. More confident. Sure of himself. Still focused on his career, but he wasn't lost.

"Tell me something," Mike began.

"You feel so good," Paige flirtily said, running her hand down his back, trying to redirect his attention back to her and away from whatever was going on in that overactive brain of his. She didn't know what was happening between them. What this was. Mike was here for a few more weeks and she wanted to take things day by day. Whatever Mike wanted to talk about would have to wait. And if it was the talk, she was prepared to push him out of bed.

Maybe.

At the very least, she was prepared to shut him up.

Mike leisurely dragged his lips along her neck and she sighed happily. "Why tonight?"

"Why not tonight?" Paige rolled them over so he was on his back, staring up at her. She shivered under the intensity of his gaze. His clear blue eyes were full of so many questions, but she wasn't sure she wanted to answer them. Wasn't sure she could answer them.

She wasn't like Mike. She wasn't looking to be in a relationship and she had a feeling that was what he wanted. Mike was only here temporarily, just long enough for them to have some fun and get him out of her system. Then they could move on before things got messy. There wouldn't be any teary goodbyes at the airport. No broken hearts. Just a perfect summer fling.

Paige pressed her lips to his, kissing him slowly as one of her hands wandered beneath the sheets. Mike groaned as her hand moved over him.

"Paige..." Mike groaned, his voice slightly strained.

Paige grinned victoriously, knowing she had won. At least for now. No man should be able to think coherently when she was touching him how she was touching Mike. She was going to make it so he couldn't string more than three words together.

"Shh," Paige said. She flicked her tongue along his neck, kissing her way down his chest, watching his muscles strain as he clenched the sheet with one hand, while his other tangled his fingers in her hair as she continued her path downward.

Talking would have to wait.
