Her large black eyes, even from a distance, were overwhelming. If it had been any other situation I would I have felt like a traitor for thinking so, but they were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. It was not just their perfect shape and large size, or the intense black irises that could belong only to a vampire. There was something utterly unearthly about them. They were eyes that captivated me, I felt like I was looking at some great secret unknown by any being that walked the earth. I could look at them forever and still be entranced. But the sight sent a shiver up my spine, for the intensity and beauty had a mysterious and almost dangerous quality. Haunting I thought
