Karol Ren stood up, taking a look at her target one more time before swiftly turning around and going to her personal ship. Supreme Leader Snoke had sent her and the other Knights on their missions over a year ago, but before they all separated, their leader Kylo Ren had called a meeting. During this meeting, Karol and the others had pledged full loyalty and support to Kylo Ren, knowing that he will one day take the title of Supreme Leader for himself.
Karol was one of the few who had stood behind Kylo when he attacked the temple of Luke Skywalker, helping him bring down any and all resistance. Soon afterwards, they were enlisted into the service of Snoke and sent on their missions.
Karol boarder her personal ship, the Ryzen, when her intercom beeped with the emergency tone. She raised her eyebrows. The emergency alert was reserved only for the highest of crises, in which the whole First Order was prepared to assist the troubled. Firing up the Ryzen, Karol left the piloting to her droid and went to the communications panel. She was greeted with a simple video message to all First Order officials and officers. "Strange," Karol thought to herself, "emergency alerts are sent with text, not video." She opened it anyways, and was immediately greeted with the face of Kylo Ren.
"Greetings, all First Order personnel. As of yesterday, our Supreme Leader Snoke was killed by a girl claiming to be a Jedi. In order to continue his plans and exert peace over the galaxy, I, Kylo Ren, have taken the title of Supreme Leader. Your duties will remain the same. Almost no conditions will change. However, I now call all of the Knights of Ren, the leadership team, and all regional governors, to come to the Finalizer, currently at the location of the destroyed Starkiller Base. Thank you for your cooperation."
With that, Karol smiled. "I knew you would make it, Kylo," she said, as her ship lurched into hyperspace.
