Watching Reid

Author's Note: My first ever (!!!) Criminal Minds fic, dedicated to comedyforever1117 who convinced me to write it.

Reid walked down the aisle of the plane. Rossi watched him move. He was surprisingly graceful for someone who looked all elbows and knees. He took a seat across from him and smiled, pushing his hair out of his eyes.

Rossi smiled back. He didn't have the heart to tell him if that annoyed him so much he should just get a haircut. Secretly he loved Reid's hair. One of the many reasons he loved watching the younger man. Always something going on.

He watched as Reid thumbed through the case folder on his lap. He had incredibly long, bony fingers. They ghosted, fluttered, over the paper as Reid read as quickly as any genius you know. Except different, because of those fingers. Rossi wondered what they'd feel like, ghosting over his face.

Reid caught him looking, glanced up, smiled. That was what he loved most though. Watching Reid meant catching that smile, the one that meant Reid knew very well that he was being watched and was enjoying it immensely.

Rossi smiled back.

Yeah, I know. Short. My first time and all. This could, of course, be a tribute the awesome adorableness that is Matthew Gray Gubler, but that could just be me :)

Review please.
