THE DEATH OF THE GREAT GODDESS;

PART 6 (THE ENCOUNTER)

She haven't seen him for ages but he still looked the same as always, handsome but evil. The creasing smile came to his face. He made a fireball out of black magic and threw it in Alanna's direction, Alanna ducked and called for her magic, she noticed that her fireball flared with a brighter colour. She tossed it around from hand to hand and it became brighter every time. She finally threw it when she saw Roger making one of his own. It blasts through him and he was engulfed in a cloud of smoke. He disappeared but reappeared behind her laughing. Alanna's fury raged, the last time he tried to kill her it was much simpler but now it wasn't. He's already dead and how could you kill somebody who was already dead. Alanna turned around and ignored him.

"What scared already?" taunted Roger Alanna still ignored him.

'I can't hurt him so he must be restricted to hurt me,' Alanna thought. Roger shrieked and vanished. Alanna let out her breath. Moving along the hall which appeared again, she saw the last door. The soft breeze that came through at the other side of the door slowly opened it. Sitting there was the pale Goddess.

"Mother, what have they done to you?" Alanna whispered in shock. The goddess slowly stood up and smiled. She put her finger to her lips. A bright light engulfed the darkness and everything grew silent. Then there was blackness.

Alanna found herself in the training fields again and she was her old self. Alanna looked up and saw Jonathon walking towards her.

"Hey, Alanna," Jonathon greeted.

"What happened with the Goddess?" Alanna mumbled. Jonathon looked at her questioningly and continued.

"I just received and message and I didn't trust anyone else to give it to you but me," Jonathon unfolded the decorated piece of paper and Alanna read:

'Thankyou for helping me. The Black God and his mistress are being dealt with and everything is back to normal. That means that nobody will remember what happened except you and the immortals. Everything is restored to its rightful time and I wish you great luck for the future. I will try not to disturb you in your mortal lives again. Thankyou.'

Alanna grinned. Carefully she tore the piece of paper and released it in the wind.
