Chapter 1 Another Trip to the Moon

It was June 6th 2001 and it was the day that a small amount of Japanese astronauts were to land on the moon. This trip had been planned for 2000 but due to some technical difficulties it was delayed until the next year.
"Six minutes to landing Mr. Takayushi," said a computerized voice.
"Perfect. Distance till landing?" Grei Takayushi asked.
"About 200 kilometers at best," the computerized voice said again.
"Thanks," Takayushi replied as he switched the ship into autopilot.
Takayushi opened the door behind his seat and walked threw it; the door making an amusing swish noise as it shut. As he walked down the hall he saw a few other astronauts. Tendi Yoko, Mendnis Oneas, Draeke Eliy and Usi Varas. These five astronauts were the best in their fields. Yoko was the best in mechanical repairs, Oneas was the best in recording data, Eliy was the best at healing injuries, Varas was the best at making maps and Takayushi was the best at flying and geology, which made him a irreplaceable person on the crew. These five men were sent on a small mission, go to the moon and just observe it and explore it so they could make a more detailed map of the moon.
After walking for about three minutes to stretch his limbs Takayushi walked back to the control room and started the landing sequence. It was a long and hard procedure. One mistake and half the ship could be wrecked so there was a feel of tension throughout the ship.
" Two minutes to landing... One minute to landing. Fifty seconds to landing. Forty, thirty, twenty, ten," Takayushi told himself in his head.
The ship was coming toward the moon fast but at the last few seconds it slowed down and landed safely. Takayushi, along with everyone else on the moon and on Japan, cheered as they landed. It was a solid half hour before everyone got wound down and could get their spacesuits on. The five of them steeped outside and breathed in the air they had in their tanks. They had 3 hours of air at most.
Takayushi looked all around him. Nothing but grey dust and rocks as far as the eye could see. It was boring yet exciting all at one. And it looked beautiful in an odd sort of way. Takayushi and the others started walking, more of a hopping, all around a 50 meter diameter from the ship, that way they could still find the ship.
Takayushi was floating around and looking at all the moon rocks and picked one up, a sample if you want to call it that. It was grey just like all the other rocks. Takayushi then put it down and picked up three bigger rocks and walked back to the ship after 1 hour of exploring.
He got inside, took off his suit and walked to his lab to study these rocks. After another hour or so of studying the other four returned. Yoko was going to tell Takayushi that they had gotten some more sample for him but saw him asleep at his desk, his three samples right by him. Yoko, took one look at him and just left five more sample by his desk, closed the door and shut off the light. Once everyone was asleep the lights in the halls dimmed so they wouldn't be disturbed. But then one of the sample rocks cracked in half and the dust that had collected on it from staying on the moon was spewed all over. But at that time Takayushi inhaled the dust and was silent.
