The fear and trepidation Dean felt so keenly was mirrored back at him in his brother's eyes as they stared at each other across the kitchen table.
"What the hell are we gonna do?" Dean asked, his voice breaking slightly under the stress.
"I don't know, I don't even know where to begin. If we had been here when it happened at least...but we don't even know for sure what it was."
Sam swiped a hand over his face and Dean dropped his head to the table. From upstairs came the unmistakable squall of an infant.
Bobby's nap was over.
