"I really love, you." Trent Mercer whispered as kissed my cheek. A warm feeling of happiness washed over me making my belly twist. Why couldn't things be this simple? Just him and me laying by the lake and relaxing. Not, saving the world from his adoptive father he has a split personality. He was mine, and I was his.
"I love you too." I mumbled lazily, as his hands ran through the hems of my hair.
"I always feel at peace with you. Kira…promise you won't ever leave me." Trent's eyes flashed of so many different emotions, that he seemed to lose what sight of what was in front of him. Slowly, He dropped his eyes from mine to look at our hand intertwined.
"I promise, Trent." My voice had wavered just a bit, as he leaned in to me.
" I'll never leave you."
