Ada loved her brother with all of her heart. He was always there for her, playing with her, making her smile, and most of all just being her best friend. She loved Oz, and always wanted for him to be happy. She didn't understand why Daddy didn't love Oz.
Daddy would come home from a long trip and scoop her up into his arms. He would tell her how much he had missed her, how much he loved her. Then she would always ask the same question, never learning that the answer would not change.
"Daddy? Did you miss big brother too?"
The answer was always a no.
She didn't understand why Daddy didn't love big brother. She did the only thing she could think of to help. Ada tried to be the best little sister in the world. She gave Oz all the love she could, trying her hardest to fill up that hole in his heart.
