Human Nature: Prologue

Its human nature to feel something strong from deep within, they say. Its human nature to hate and to love at the same time. But its more like human nature to hate rather than love in my opinion. I want to show the world that love is something we are lacking, and I am doing that. Few people listen.

One such girl is only 16. She....she's to be my wife, my parents told me. A girl who is 30 years my junior. A cradle robber, they call me. They say I'll end up hurting her, breaking her spirit. But I know I'd rather die than do something like that. She makes me feel things that I've never EVER felt before. I don't know whether I should smile and allow myself to be led by these feelings or if I should hide from the girl that is slowly changing my life........

Human Nature
Chapter 1: Looking out across the night-time

Cameras everywhere. Lights flashing, questions being screamed. It was almost too much for her to take as she was led to the limo by two bodyguards. Los Angeles loomed in the distance and in about half an hour, she would be pulling up to Neverland where she would meet her future husband.

Onto the leather seats she slid and once the door was shut, she pulled off her sunglasses. Bright blue-green eyes sparkled as they adjusted to the darkness of the car. The tinted windows prevented the press from spying on her while she stared out at them. The events of the last two weeks ran through her head.

She had been told by her parents that she was to marry the great Michael Joseph Jackson. The next day, everyone at her school knew as it hit the news. She hadn't been left alone for a second, even in class when they were suppose to be studying. Luckily it was Spring Break and she was able to get away from it. However she was to spend it with Michael. Her hero, the one who inspires her. How was she to survive the week!?

Sierra wore a pair of white tennis shoes, black sweats, and a black tank top. Her brunette hair (but at the moment fiery red) was pulled into a tight ponytail on the top of her head and she wore only stud earrings in her ears. Her face had no makeup for it made her face itch and caused her to break out like none other. She didn't want to have pimples when she met Michael.

"Miss? We're at Neverland" Sierra jumped, having been lost in thought. She looked at the driver before accepting his hand and stepped out of the car. Lights flashed at the gate as she walked towards the looming house, the shouts of children coming from the open window. A man came out and saw Sierra. As she approached, he said,

"Michael is waiting."

This story is based on the fact that I don't want to admit that Michael Jackson is dead and that This is It was made into a movie instead of a concert series. It makes me cry like none other.

No bashings please because this is fan-fiction no matter what. Thank you
