Disclaimer: I OWN THIS POEM! I wrote it while I was at work. I was really really really bored. I bet you all can tell that when I get bored I make up so pretty good things, well that's what my friends say anyway. I hope you all like it ^^
Falling in Love

Falling in love, such a simple term it is
He is yours and you are his
A feeling like none other
Only thinking of each other
It gives you warm fuzzies from head to toe
And makes you melt like summer with snow
Such light it brings into one's life
But the darker side cuts like a knife
The light starts to die
Because of one single lie
"I love you," he said
I believed as I lay in bed
He wants her not me
All of this I can see
This heart of mine breaks in three and twos
When in my ear, "My baby girl," he coos
He is gone now, you see
All that's left is just me
I stand alone to the side
To feel my heart as it died
But I get back on my feet
This is one girl you cannot beat
For you I do not shed one tear
I am stronger than that my dear
The years go on and I am happy
While yours turns real crappy
I am strong and you are weak
My life is bright and yours is bleak
Falling in love is more complex than it seems
Nothing but words that feel like such dreams
Feelings get hurt and torn apart
The biggest breaking is your heart
To love someone is to give your all
Taking a chance to stay or fall
Falling in love is a double-edged sword
And it could all end with one simple word
Ai: Well that is the end. Although it looks done I'm not sure it is. Everytime I read it I feel that it is not completely done, so don't be surprised if you see the same poem with add-ons later in the future. ^^
