"Double Mocaccino with whipped cream!" said Finn with her order in his hand as Clarke walked to counter.

She sighed with happiness and grabbed her order with both of her hands.

"Finn Collins you are my savior. I couldn't do it without you!"

Finn chuckled behind the counter. The coffee shop was empty except for the two of them due to the early hour. Clarke sat behind the counter, facing Finn.

"Even with me I still don't know how you do it. Do you realize you finish working when I start?" Finn shook his head. "Oh, and I added a little something to your coffee", he added.

"Really?" Clarke said. "It tastes just the same… I guess that means you're lousy at your job."

Finn chuckled again.

"Turn you cup", he said.

Clarke obeyed. When she saw what was on it, she started laughing. "A phone number Finn, really? You know at this hour we've got plenty of times before the hipsters arrive! You could have just asked me out now!"

"I know. The cup is the symbol", answered Finn with a wink. "So, in thirty years, when our children will ask how we met we could show them this cup of coffee and sweep them of their feet by our overwhelming adorableness."

Clarke started laughing. She had a pretty laugh, the kind that makes you wanna join in.

"Wow. You're right this is so much better than asking me out!"

Finn leaned forward, smirking.

"So does that mean we're going out?" he asked.

"Well", Clarke answered, smirking back, "if we're going to have children someday, we might wanna start somewhere."

Finn laughed and raised his back straight.

"I have an idea", he said. "How about I buy you a coffee?"

"Too bad you don't work at Starbucks this would have been nearly a ten bucks date!"

"Damn! Should have thought about this", Finn said with fake concern. "How about I add a cookie to your coffee? It's gonna cost me like five bucks for the two of them!"

Clarke nodded thoughtfully, still smiling.

"Five bucks?" she said. "Sounds about right. Maybe I'll even let you go to first base."

Finn laughed.

"Wait hold up. Are you telling me the more stuff I buy you the naughtier we'll get? Because that, Princess, is dangerously close prostitution!"

Clarke shook his head.

"What?" said Finn with innocence. "Am I the only one trying to protect your honor and virtue? Am I alone in this?"

Clarke leaned forward.

"Nah", she said, "you're not alone."

She grabbed his shirt and kissed him.
