It was chaos, complete total chaos everywhere she looked. Injured people lay on the floor and those actually unscratched by the evacuation looked lost and agitated. She herself had no idea where they were and she doubted anyone else knew either. Well perhaps Doctor Rush since he had that small annoying smile on his face as he studied the mess from distance.

Lieutenant Tamara Johansen sighed deeply trying to suppress her own feelings of despair as she tended to the injured. She really wished that their real doctor hadn't died in the attack of the base. She wasn't qualified for this and quite frankly all those people shouldn't have been her concern.

No T.J was supposed to be in a classroom, a safe place, away from the complicated life she had had on the Icarus base. Her thoughts were interrupted as the people around her and her patient suddenly shuffled, some of them even began to scream as something came flying high above them.

Tamara looked up just in time to see Colonel Young flying across the room landing in a heap further away.

"Oh my God, Everett." She whispered as she scrambled for the little medical supplies she had gathered.

The lieutenant plastered a smile on her face trying not to show any concern and nodded at the technician she had just treated. "You are gonna be just fine."

The way had been cleared for her and she began to run but hesitated a little as she neared him. He was part of her complicated life. If it only had stayed at a friendship level, but no they had to take it further.

It had felt so wrong when she first thought about it; he was out of her reach. He was married and perhaps that made him even more attractive to her at the time.

He had been gentle and caring and…married. She mentally slapped herself.

T.J couldn't help but chuckle despite the situation. She had applied for a scholarship, she had even quit the air force and look where she was; still at his side.

She kneeled beside him trying to ignore who it was and her own turbulent feelings. The lieutenant let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding as his pulse became apparent under her fingertips.

Then the difficulty of their situation crashed down hard on her. There was no one to consult, no doctor to discuss with or hand over the patient to.

So many people crowded the room yet she was alone. The feelings threatened to surface and she remembered how it used to be, his strong arms gently placed around her. Then it was the framed photo of his beautiful wife, Emily. He wasn't for her to have, Tamara knew that and that's why she had decided to leave in the first place.

The lieutenant glanced down at the man, blood was coating the back of his head and he didn't respond to her at all. Colonel Everett Young don't you dare do this to me. She thought and the uncertainty that she had felt about her situation suddenly turned into anger.

T.J peeled back an eyelid and saw signs of a concussive injury.

"Is he OK?" Greer asked concerned.

She paused and looked at Everett's soft features. Was this faith's way of telling her she still needed him?

Greer looked at her intently waiting for an answer.

"I dunno." She replied honestly, shocked by the implication of her own words.
