Of Tea and Cake

Disclaimer: Nope. Harry Potter does not belong to me.

The series and the characters all belong to you-know-who.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Narcissus loves and hates teatime

for reasons oh so strange.

Her favourite hobby was sipping tea.

She loathes the taste of cake.

When teatime serves both of which

she quietly swoons and groans

but it is her weirdness and elegance

that makes Lucius love her so.

Author's note: This poem is written for the sake of producing poems and enjoyment. It tries to tell the readers how the lady malfoy likes to drink tea but hates to consume cake.

At every teatime, when both are served, she feels contradictive emotions of joy and dismay. Her weirdness may refer to her liking of tea and great dislike of cake or her ability to feel contradictive emotions at the same time. Her elegance shows when she masks her emotions. Maybe it is the malfoys' belief that extreme emotions contorts the face to form an ugly picture thus it is a most distasteful thing for them to show much emotion (though they have no problem in showing their distaste, which is not relevant to the poem)

As for the last line, ummm....Lucius is proud of her as her actions are befitting of a malfoy?

Anyway, please read and review?
