Crystal Jing

Disclaimer: I own not Jing nor Sailor Moon.

A/N: I got this idea from my counterpart's fic, Jing vs. . So mote it be!.

(Borrowed from the beginning of Jing, the King of Bandits)

All that glitters...

Even the stars.

All things precious...

Even Your life.

The King of Bandits can steal it all in the blink of an eye.

Prologue: the game is afoot!

Jing was strolling through the Juuban district of Japan, Melon-pan in hand and Kir on His shoulder. He bit down absently on the delicious melon flavored bread in his hand as he took in the sights.

"Ah, come on Jing, at least give me a hint!" Kir whined, floating around Jing as if defying the very laws of physics themselves.

No one batted an eye at the antics of the strange bird. They had seen magical girls and perverted demons and other such supernatural nonsense. Heck, the entire city of Tokyo had been razed, burned down, blown up, destroyed, erased from existence, and home to more forces against evil than any other city on Earth (except maybe New York, what with the superheroes and all) too many times to even care about a boy in a strange orange trench coat with a black spiral decorating the shoulder and a magical bird. If anything, they were more wary, cause magical animal partner usually meant new magical evil. Lucky for them, Kir wasn't that sort of bird and Jing wasn't that sort of boy.

Jing and Kir were partners of course, but they were partners in procuring objects of supernatural value from the people who owned them. In short, they were thieves. But Jing was not just any thief, he was known throughout the multiverse as Jing, the King of Bandits (it must be writ with capitals, that's how good he is). He's stolen Stars from the Silver Sky, tears from a maiden's heart, dreams from the Master Dreamer, and Time from Timeless One. But this time, he's here for one thing...

Jing grinned at his avian partner in crime. "Alright, Kir. I'm shooting for the Moon this time!"

To be continued...

E/N (Ending Notes): Well, what do ya'll think of that? Vague enough to be interesting? Interesting enough to continue? Reviews fuel the fire, but the fire will go until extinguished. New chapters coming within a month (maybe) and the sailor scouts introduced next time.
