Chapter One
A/N: I've taken a LONG break from Fan-Fiction, but over some amount of time I've found myself missing it, so I'll take it back up again. Enjoy.
"I love you, you know that, right?"
"I do."
"And do you know what else?"
"What?"
"I want to spend my life with you."
"WH…What?"
"What we have, it's special, right?"
"Of course it is!"
"And a love like this lasts, doesn't it?"
"It does."
"Vvardenfell, will you marry me?"
Vvardenfell's waist-long blonde hair blew slightly in the wind, stone grey eyes filling with tears as Ryan got onto one knee and held up a ring, which shimmered with gold and diamond.
"Oh Ryan…"
She said, laughing and kneeling with him.
"Of course."
Both of them crying now, Ryan slipped the ring onto Vvardenfell's finger and kissed her, his shoulder-length hair falling into his face in the same way Vvardenfell's was falling into hers.
"Oh God, you did it, didn't you?"
The two separated, and Vvardenfell blushed as she saw her Dunmer friend, Larka, smiling wickedly at the two.
Ryan blushed.
"I did."
From beneath Larka's legs burst the Mudcrab Skooma, giggling gleefully and hopping into Vvardenfell's arms.
"Friend girl's getting married!"
Vvardenfell and Ryan laughed openly as Larka came over, giving both off them hugs.
"And to think you were nervous…"
"I know."
"You were nervous?"
"Sort of..."
"Who's he trying to kid, he was sweating bullets! You should have seen him, it was something else."
Ryan blushed again.
"You never stop trying to make my life miserable, do you, Larka?"
"What can I say? It's my job." She said, smiling and standing up from the table.
"I'm going to head off to bed, see you guys in the morning.
"Night."
Ryan and Vvardenfell said in unison.
It was two years after the death of Dagoth Ur, all "Bad Bads," as Skooma would say, were defeated for the time being, and there had been a period of peace for quite a while.
When we last left our heroes, they were headed to Solsthiem to defeat the "Armies of Snow."
A lot of stuff happened in the battle, but the most important things it appears I'll be required to list here, to spare you from future confusion.
The traitor, as it turns out, was Vivec. The death of Almalexia, his love, had driven him insane.
In the final battle, Skooma revealed himself to be the god Molag Bal. In fact, he was forced to reveal this when Vvardenfell lost her life, her heart pierced by the spear of the Snow Prince.
Molag Bal, or Skooma, as you know him, was imprisoned long ago in the body of a Mudcrab as punishment for his wicked deeds. Hundreds of years in the feeble body began to drive him insane, helping to show him the errors of his ways, and, he eventually began wanting to help instead of harm. By the time he had his first meeting with Azura, Vvardenfell had just been conceived.
There were three other meeting with Azura, once when Vvardenfell was 5, once when she was 10, and once when she was 17. We join the story when she is 20, though in this sequel, she is now 22.
Surprise, eh?
A/N: The Solsthiem story plot turned out to be not quite as interesting as I had hoped, so I decided to screw it over and write this sequel. Reviews, yes?
