What would happen if Cap had lifted Mjolnir in Age of Ultron?
Bruce had failed to lift the hammer and pretended to Hulk out to the disappointment of Natasha and the rest of the Avengers, he quickly took a seat embarrassed.
Cap out of courtesy steeped up to lift the hammer, Sam urging him on from the sofa, he took a grasp of the wooden handle expecting it to be incredibly heavy but to his surprise it was incredibly well balanced, he had a quick decision to make, upstage Thor and pretend to not lift the hammer or lift it and have the surrounding Avengers praise him for what he did
Cap thought to himself, he knew Thor very well, he wouldn't be embarrassed at someone being worthy right?, he then lifted the hammer of the table and held it above him, The Avengers look in surprise and awe, they look at Steve in silence
Steve: "What?"
Tony: "He doesn't count, he's like Thor"
Sam: "What, Tall and Blond?"
Thor: "Is that Jealousy Stark I smell?"
Tony: "No, of course not"
Rhodey: "Yeah he's jealous"
Natasha and the other Avengers laugh, Tony looks at Rhodey in exasperation
Tony: "I thought you were playing for the home team, and besides Steve still has his 1940's value of life"
Natasha: "So what, he can move the hammer because he's old?"
The Avengers laugh, Steve drops his head in desperation and makes a frown directly in Natasha's direction, Mjolnir still in his right hand
Tony: "She said it, not me," he says looking over to Steve
Thor gets up and walks next to Steve's right-hand side, Steve instinctively hands him the hammer to which Thor takes
Thor: "Steve may be old in a matter of time but he is the only mortal I knew that would be able to lift Mjolnir, for the rest of you however.."
Clint: "What, can only blonde haired people lift it?"
Natasha: "I'll dye my hair blonde next time, maybe then I'll be able to be like Thor too"
Thor: "You're all not worthy"
The Avengers boo at his statement as he throws his hammer and catches it, he waits until the booing has finished to talk
Thor: "I must confess that the hammer can only be lifted by those worthy but it doesn't allow itself to be lifted for the wrong reasons"
Tony: "Come on, I'm off, have fun playing with a building tool"
The rest of the Avengers laugh at that and boo as Tony leaves
