Prologue

A boy with red hair as crimson as the rage he felt at himself in his certainty. That certainty that he caused the blaze that destroyed them even if he did not recognize who they were. The soul shaking despair was the first thing the fire in his blood burned away to be consumed by the Grail reduced as it was. That was then followed by sadness, grief, hate, hope, joy, even his memories until all he could feel was his rage, his wrath, his determination, and anger. He would later find all he could ever feel was determination, and anger. His body unused to the strain collapsed into the flames dispelling them. Three hours later he would be found, and of that time all he would remember was a golden flash.
Seven days after that boy was released he was officially renamed Shirou Kasai Emiya. Three days later he would learn of the mystical world. So the days went on and turned into years until exactly three years had passed when an offer was made.
"I am dying, Shirou and you are the only heir I can reach, so I am offering to teach you what skills I can including magecraft," Kiritsugu said. Seeing his adopted child's understanding what he means he asks "Shirou do you accept my training ?"
"Yes I will Old Man-sensei" Shirou replied in answer.

Three months later

"Today we work on elemental magecraft as you have learned the first four spells a magus should learn. " Kiritsugu says.

"Should I craft more than one circuit this time Sensei" Shirou asked to his adoptive father.

"Shirou what do you mean by that?" Kiritsugu asked in a panic.

"Was I not supposed to create my circuits" Shirou replied unconcerned.
Three days later

" So this is what my natural circuits feel like." Shirou said to his father by adoption in comment. "Let us go back to the elemental magecraft lecture Old Man." he continued on.
Four months later

"As you have now gotten much further along in magecraft I will start your training in my personal specialty mystic codes." Kiritsugu said to his heir.
Two months later

"Shirou it is time for me to die take my crest from my body, enter my workshop take my journals, read them. To keep from stagnating, use my workshop and a book in it on runes. Kiritsugu said before dying with a smile on his face.

A/N I hope everyone likes my first chapter but I must tell you that this is a hobby and that it could be months between updates or mere hours. Please give tips, reviews or anything at all.
