A/N: I'm not really happy with this one. I thought Gwaine was rather hard to write, but I just had to get it out of my head so I can concentrate on studying for my chemistry exam. I tried my hardest though and hope some of you will enjoy it anyway...
Forest Nymph
Gwaine has to get away from Camelot. All these rules that came with knighthood are grating on his nerves, so he decided a long ride through the woods is just what he needs.
When a splash suddenly interrupts the quiet of the forest, he stops his horse. Maybe an animal, he thinks, readying his bow. If he could get some food he might be able to stay out for a whole day or longer. He dismounts and slowly creeps into the direction the sounds are coming from. It is then that he sees her.
He's heard about Nymphs, but the woman in the water exceeds all his fantasies. She's beautiful, sure, but he has seen enough beautiful women to not be impressed so easily. Maybe it is the freedom with which she lounges in the water as if they she was in her private chambers, without any concern about being seen. The girls he knows would blush even at the thought of doing so.
Before he can either move away or make himself known, the girl suddenly looks up, staring him straight in the face. Her eyes widen for a moment as she moves back, putting more distance between him and herself. She still doesn't cover her nudity.
"No, don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you." And why would he? He isn't some bandit roaming the land, robbing people and raping women. He makes his most chivalrous grin appear on his face. "Why would I ever want to damage something as beautiful as you?"
For a moment she gives him a strange look, before she starts moving into his direction. It startles him that she doesn't hesitate at all, until she is standing right in front of him and stares up into his face. She seems as if she cannot quite decide what to do with him and there is something, he realizes, something he recognizes, but can't quite put his finger on.
"Tell me your name." Gwaine looks at her the way he always found helpful when seducing a girl. Usually he's offering a flower to go with it, but there aren't any around, so instead he slowly reaches out to graze the side of her face with his hand before stroking her hair behind her ear.
All of a sudden she grins at him. "That won't be necessary. It is far more important that I know who you are, Sir Gwaine." She's clearly mocking him, but before he can answer she is already pressing her lips and her body against his own. He hesitates for a moment and wonders whether it wouldn't be better to just push her away and find out how she knows him first, but the way she moves her hips against his makes it hard for him to think clearly. And really, what is the worst that could happen?
It doesn't take long until they move to the ground, her on top of him, stripping him and touching him. He lets her have him her way, because he's not the type to complain when a beautiful woman wants to be in control.
She only grows bolder, scratching him and biting down on his shoulder when she's finally taking him in. Gwaine meets her fervor eagerly enough, and keeps watching her face. He could swear her eyes flash golden for a moment, right before she throws her head back and cries out.
She doesn't lie with him for long after they are done. Instead she gets up, gathering her clothes, while he simply enjoys the afterglow of their activities. When she comes to stand next to him again, he can see a satisfied, yet slightly malicious smile, spreading across her lips.
"Tell Arthur, I'm not done with him and Camelot yet."
Shocked by her words, he leaps to his feet as fast as he can, but before he can do or say anything in response to her cryptic words, she's already gone.
