This story is about a six friends, who have special powers, by the help of professor X, they learn to workhe scene opens up, with Dia: who is walking through the hallways carrying books.
"hi dia, what's with all the books?" asked Kitty pryde, walking with her.
"It's nothing, I just wanted to do a bit of light reading", said Dia.
"Okay. But how about you take a break?" asked Kitty pryde, take the books, and putting them in the locker.
"Yeah, and have some fun", said Jean.
"I don't know, remember last time I tried to have fun", said Dia.
In the flashback, seeing everybody dizzy and the party a diaster.
"OK, so maybe throwing you a suprise, birthday party, what's such a good idea", said Kitty.
"That reminds me, here", said Bobby, giving Dia a present.
Dia opens it, and finds a watch with pearls around, and puts it on.
"Thank you, bobby", said Dia, then all of sudden everything frozen.
"Hey, what happened. Kitty? Jean? Bobby?" wondered Dia, seeing them frozen in time.
"What's going on?" asked Dia.
Dia looks around seeing everybody frozen in time and throws the watch off, thinking it might off caused this but nothing happened.
"It's not the watch, it's me, then maybe", said Dia, and comes up with an idea, then
Dia runs back to the others, and focus her mind on unfreezing them, and it worked.
"Huh, what happpened?" asked Kitty.
"Guys, I need your help, I done something and I don't know how to fix it", said Dia.
"What happened?" asked Booby.
"It would be better if I show you", said Dia.
"How? You did this?" asked Kitty, suprised.
Dia nodded.
"Dia, there's something we need to show you", replied Jean, then shows dia her levitating a table with her mind.
"What? you're a mutant. Does that mean?"gasped Dia, then looks at everybody else.
"yes, we're all mutants", answered Jean, then Booby showed his ice powers, and Kitty shows her powers to phase through walls.
"No way, but I'm still confused who is this professor?" asked Dia.
"He's a man that teachs mutants to be proud of their powers, like you", said Jean.
"No, I can't be a mutant", said Dia.
"Then, how did do you explain what happened?" asked Bobby.
"I..I. I guess I can't", said Dia, trying to find another explanation
"Alright, say I take this under consideration, what will happen", Dia suggested.
"The professor will help you control your power", said Jean.
"Can somebody explain, what's going on?" asked Rogue.
"Yeah, it better be good one", said Wolverine.
"It is, wolverine, rogue, meet our friend dia", said Kitty, introducing her.
"hello, sorry to have caused so much trouble", said Dia.
"it's nothing, dia, all you need is to focus your powers", said Scott.
"How?" asked Dia.
"Think of unfreezing time, only that". said Jean, in a meditating position with Dia.
"Did it worked?" asked Dia, opening her eyes.
"I'll check around", said Jean, using her mind powers. "everybody is back to normal".
"Good, now about that offer", said Dia.
Inside, the mansion.
"Nice meet you, i'm professor charles xavier", said Professor X, shaking dia's hand.
"It's good to meet you too, professor", said Dia.
"No, need to be nervous, all are welcome here", said Professor X.
"Sorry, this just all so sudden", said Dia, looking nevous.
"Don't worry, we'll help you", offered Jean.
"I'm glad, you're my friends", said Dia.
"Let me show you to your room", said Kitty.
