There he stood, a cold grave yard with old chipped up headstones around him

Lovino Vargas visited the old place whenever he could

He never let go

He never forgot, no matter how hard he tried, How could he? How could he when himself and a few said others believed that the reason why this person he cared so very much would still be there if he had watched his words, but how was he supposed to know? He thought they should've known he never meant it, he never meant anything he spat out at them honestly.

He kneeled down into fallen leaves, wiping the dirt off of the headstone.

Slowly breaking down into tears once more at the name

"In loving memory of Antonio Fernández Carriedo

loved by family and cherished by friends"

This wasn't what this was supposed to look like

Antonio should be there telling Lovino that it was okay

Only words echoed into his mind

"It's your fault it's all your fault"

He regretted every single swear that came out of his mouth

Every single insult

What he wouldn't give to see his face again

What he wouldn't have gave to be sitting in the hospital to hear that he was okay, that the other car only gave minimal damage,

But that wasn't the case.

And there Lovino sat, trying to stop his tears from flowing, as he put down a posy of carnations.

Life wasn't fair to them.

Little did Lovino know that he'd be to distracted in his own thoughts on his way home

To see another car racing towards him

But who knows, maybe life would take a different turn and his brother would be in the hospital hearing that he was okay

Life wasn't fair for Lovino Vargas or Antonio Fernández Carriedo but then again

When is it ever fair for anyone?
