Title: Hits From The Bong

Author: Sepiktik

The title comes from a Cypress Hill song of the same name.

Natsuki fell from the trapdoor into the open area below and looked about herself, bewildered. She turned around and ran in a frenzied rush, but an invisible wall blocked her path. She had no choice but to continue on the path before her. She paused for a second to collect her thoughts, and looked around her. The sky was a bright pastel blue, dotted with smiling clouds and caramel-colored bricks. The ground was composed of those same caramel-colored bricks. Natsuki's gaze followed the caramel brick road. As her gaze shifted upwards, she saw an Orphan approaching her.

Her heart skipped a beat and she instinctively tried to summon her elements. Nothing happened, and the Orphan came ever closer to her. Something primal snapped in Natsuki. She charged at the Orphan, and as she was about to collide with it, she gathered all of her force in her feet and thrust from the ground. She soared through the air, easily clearing the Orphan, but she hit her head on one of the levitating bricks. Her head seared with pain, but she heard a slight jingle. She braced herself for her landing on the ground, and managed to maintain her balance and land on her feet. When she checked her pocket, she found that she had obtained a gold coin.

She looked towards the horizon, looking at the scenery, when a glint of gold caught her eye. The beams from the sun danced in the clear sky and reflected off of the golden coins floating in the air. She ran and jumped as high as she could, with her arms extended and her fingers spread, grasping at the coins, all the while wearing a delirious grin on her face, while calculating how much mayo she could buy with her earnings. She greedily scanned the sky for more coins she could grab, but looked down at the caramel colored ground below her, a forlorn look on her face, as she realized that there were no more floating gold coins to be collected.

As she stared at the bricks below her, something clicked in her mind. She charged forward, jumping over a makeshift hurdle, and spotted a conspicuous-looking brick. Carefully, she positioned herself under the brick, and cautiously jumped, this time using her forehead as the contact surface. She heard the delightful jingle of coins in her pocket, and repeatedly bounced to try to get as many coins as she could. After a while, despite all of her efforts, the brick turned a deep bronze and it hurt to hit. Natsuki's eyes shifted in a maniacal fashion, as she looked for more objects to bash her head into. She ran at a green pipe protruding from the ground, and suffered a slight concussion when it turned out that the pipe was more solid than it appeared.

Natsuki, in her rage, tore the pipe out of the ground and charged through a horde of Orphans. She spotted a castle in the distance. She had gathered plenty of money from bashing her head into things and wanted to be able to cash in her earnings. Masochism paid good. She charged up a staircase and pole-vaulted herself through the air. Falling in slow motion, she grabbed onto the ledge of one of the highest towers and pulled herself up.
