Hey guys, this is just totally random, and just popped into my head.
Disclaimer: I don't own Wicked or it's character's. If I did Elphie and Glinda would both hate Fiyero and would be girlfriends.
"You know," The petite blonde said quietly. "I didn't mean what I said or sung."
"I am aware of this" green girl said. "You were just trying to remain popular because everything is about popularity to you lot. Anyone who is smart is cannot hang out with the popular kid. A popular kid cannot be seen near anyone who is smart without being shunned. That's what you don't want, is it? To be shunned and to be disallowed to hang with the likes of Misses Pfanne, Shenshen and Milla."
"That's not true, besides, they're hardly real friends, all they do is talk about the latest fashions and boys, but I don't want to be like that anymore, I'd rather be smart and hang out with the smart kids."
Elphaba looked shocked. "Why Miss Galinda, are you feeling alright?"
"Yes I'm fine. I'm just upset I have to stay with the popular kids because I have to uphold my family name, having to uphold Gilikinese tradition is very difficult you know."
"I imagine, well how about you compromise, when you're with your 'friends' you behave how you're expected to and in here, well you study."
"That could work, thank you Elphaba, I've thought of something, is it alright if I call you Elphie?"
"Well it's a bit perky."
"Please, I'll be your bestest friend ever" Galinda started to pout, cerulean eyes begging.
"Oh fine!"
"Yay" Galinda clapped her hands together as though she had just got the best present ever and her blue eyes were sparkling with delight.
A few days later after Elphie's plan had been put into action, Galinda had already learnt a fair bit. She even participated in lessons she had new found knowledge in. Galinda was already amazingly smart, almost as much as Elphaba, it just needed a kickstart. Tonight as Galinda had no plans, she and Elphie were going to study the history of Munchkinland.
Two months later, after finals had finished, it was results day. Galinda and Elphaba both were very happy. They got the highest grades Crage Hall had ever had. The likes of Misses Pfanne, Shenshen and Milla failed miserably and stared in wonder how Galinda got the highest grades Crage Hall had had. Apart from Elphaba. Galinda never noticed them and skipped away happily.
