The Digimon Kaiser and Black War Greymon were nothing compared to this.
Miyako threw up her hands in exhaustion, gazing out at the immense expanse of uphill forest, wondering if it really did go on forever. "Where the hell are we?!"
Iori sighed. "A long forest on the way to nowhere. We're not going to save anyone if we can't even get to a digital gate."
Daisuke looked at the map some more, but couldn't make sense of it in the slightest, as the lost, bored Miyako took to yelling at him yet again.
Ken and Wormmon calmly searched for an exit, or at least a local digimon with a clue, but with not the slightest bit of success – just forest, more forest, and the ever-present "404" floating bizarrely in the treetops.
"If only Takeru and Hikari were here." Daisuke mused, wishing for their inside-out knowledge of the digital world – of course, there were other things he'd rather do with Hikari alone in a forest.
Miyako nodded in complete agreement, her reasons for wanting Hikari around the exact same.
Calmly annoyed with waiting, Iori took out his D-Terminal, sending a brief letter explaining their situation, and asking for their current location and any known ways out.
Koushirou received his successor's message, smiling nostalgically as he began his response.
"You'll get out of it. It happened to us all the time."
