She disagreed with them. The Android was more human than people realised, emotion chip or not. He cared for her, looked after her and would quite possibly move the world for her. She watched him as he learned to dance, he sang, he fought, he dreamt. Just like any other. But like everyone else he was different. He longed to "be like them".
Though many wished to be like him. To have his speed, his agility. His immortality. Although she only wanted one thing: His attention. He loved her and she loved him to dote on her. Tempt her with his latest foods to appease her, stoke her, and talk to her. She loved him back.
Some people thought otherwise. An Android does not show emotion, because it is a machine. A cat does not show emotion, because it's an animal. But sometimes, people thought that The Cat and the Android had proved everyone else wrong.
