A/N: This is actually the first time I've been to a fic exchange contest, seriously! I got too excited and ended up with like almost 7,000 words.

Day 1: Morning

Due to my busy schedule, I wasn't able to write in this until now but I suppose I should start writing in it since I have something interesting to share. You see, this morning…

In the morning, a girl dressed in a sailor uniform with the colors pink, white, and green sipped her tea in a peaceful manner. The silence was broken when another student, her brother, rushed through the house, half-dressed. The two appeared similar with brown hair, brown eyes, and slight tan skin. The girl had her long hair in a ponytail with side bangs leaning towards the left and her facial features were soft like a normal girl.

Her brother, on the other hand, was more rough and tough in his appearance, just like their father. His hair had that spiky thing going on, like all the cool anime characters do.

"I was so awesome today, Hina." He grinned. "I won against Arai with flying colors." He flexed his muscles in front of the kitchen mirror.

"You lost four games to him," Hina commented. She remembered the match since she was there.

"I beat him in a second." He admired himself in all his glory.

"He was just a member of the tennis club. He's nothing compared to the regulars. Oh but I guess you can't beat them either since they're super awesome." Hina calmly drank her tea.

"No way…! I'm the most super awesome, greatest, and best tennis player in the world! I'll prove it to you, Hina. I'll beat the manager, Inui (AKA TV-glasses-kun), since he used to be a regular but they're missing out on his talents. Inui's body is big and tall plus he's very smart." Ren explained.

"You're just saying that so you won't have to battle Tezuka-kun." Hina sighed.

"You won't trick me this time. I tell you, Inui is secretly the strongest and all I have to do is KICK HIS A-…"

"Well, time for school!" Hina walked away, ignoring Ren. Ren angrily chased after her, shouting that he should never be ignored.

My brother has always been too easy to manipulate. I don't know when it started. I think it was when we were little, training with my dad…or maybe it's because I know him better than anyone else and maybe it's because I'm his sister, that I want him to really be the best.

Day 1: after school

I couldn't believe what happened today. My best friend was stranger today and my rival tried to outwit me more than usual. Plus, my brother's stupidity and out-going nature actually won him a match against Inui next week…

When Hina arrived to her class this morning, her odd friend and rowdy rival arrived to do what they usually did every day.

"Isn't he beautiful?" The girl right next to Hina grinned happy while staring outside. She wore the same uniform as Hina. She had short brown hair held back by a headband and black eyes. She was also short and always in a dream-like trance.

"Inui looks sexy today. I wanna ruffle his wild hair and take off his glasses to see what he's hiding under there." She giggled.

Hina disguised her heavy laughter in a fit of coughs. "Of course he does," Hina caught her breath at last and then muttered, "when pink elephants fly." She rolled her eyes.

"I thought you might have liked Fuji, Tezuka, or even that freshman, Echizen. What's so special about Inui, Hime?" Hina asked, taking out her school supplies for the first class.

"It was love at first sight. We have chemistry together which is perfect since we have the most perfect chemistry for each other." Hime sighed contently. "He saved my life…by helping me get an A+ in chemistry."

Hina wanted to smash her head on the desk. "That's all?" She asked.

"Yes, I didn't fail chemistry since that was a big project." Hime went off to dreamland and then drooled over Inui. Hina shook her head. She couldn't believe that her friend loved someone as strange…as Inui. She cringed at the thought but then again, Hime wasn't exactly a normal girl.

"Hina, I'll get full marks on my test and beat you!" a short girl with long brown hair in a ponytail and black eyes exclaimed to Hina.

"Right, Ayako, I'll try to beat you…" Hina said with an unmotivated tone.

"You must try even though it'll be fruitless. It's 200-199; a close tie but I'll gain another win and then it'll be over." Ayako smirked.

"Right," Hina ignored Ayako and started reading her textbook carefully and reviewed at her notes as well. She memorized the key points and focused on the details afterwards. She had plenty of time to think even though her rival and her best friend were ranting about two different things.

When the bell finally rang, everyone was in their respective seats to take the test. Hina was waiting for her best friend's note right when a certain tall student in thick glasses sat next to her. As predicted, a flying paper airplane landed on Hina's desk. She opened it and read quickly what was in it even though she already guessed the writing.

"Don't even think about drooling over Inui-sama. I'm watching you! P.S. give me some hair samples, kay~? –Love, Hime"

Hina resisted the urge to shiver. What the hell would Hime do with hair samples, Hina thought, to make a love spell? Oh how crazy her friend was…

Hina ripped the paper and threw it in the trashcan so the teacher wouldn't take it and read it out loud to the class. Hime wouldn't exactly be embarrassed…but Hina was more terrified of the thought that Hime might do something crazy.

"That was interesting," The taller boy next to her wrote in his notebook.

"Did you read it?" She asked, calm as usual.

"No…but the trajectory was perfect. It landed on your desk like a regular airplane would. It's fascinating-…" Inui started.

"Well, the test is starting…" Hina interrupted.

As soon as the test was passed out, Hina raced to finish before her rival. She had already prepared for it in all of her free study block. She was sure she had at least 95% of the test correct but she wanted to get the hundred so she took a peek at Inui's test. For a second, Hina's heart stopped. His test was overflowing with answers and offered alternatives for the critical thinking questions.

Hina slightly wavered at the amount of words on his paper. A person could barely see any white spaces other than in between the words. Hina just looked at the ones that she wasn't fully sure of and simplified her answer on her sheet.

She did feel bad about cheating off of Inui but he was…strangely unpleasant at times. Besides, she set herself out, determined to beat Ayako.

"Hime, please stop drooling and staring off into space when you're not done." The teacher threw chalk at Hime.

Hime snapped out of her trance and focused intensely on the chalk coming at her. She held out her hands and…didn't catch it. The class snickered at the white dot on her forehead that Hime attempted to stare at. Hina sighed and put her head down. No one bullied Hime, mainly because Hime was the class clown without even trying.

"Quite an interesting friend you have there." Inui smiled in a very strange way. Hina gulped and prayed for the best. After all, she'd heard the rumors of Inui sending students to the hospital.

"U-Uh…right, she's very…creative…" Hina cringed as he got closer.

"Of course, you two are unique. I've heard that both of you have strong stomachs…" His creepy smile grew more frightening.

"Y-Y-Yeah…" Hina stuttered. Not out of love, kitties. Her stuttering, her shaking, and the chill running down her spine were due to anxiety. She prepared for the dreaded death question that came after the polite compliments.

"Would you and your friend care to try my new Special Deluxe Grand Golden Veggie Supreme 2.0?"

Hina opened her mouth to protest but her rash rival interfered.

"Hah, as if! If it's the strongest stomach you're looking for then you should be asking me." Ayako announced. Hina was about to suggest that Ayako try it first but she was interrupted once again.

"No! If anyone's going to try Inui's juices then it should be me!" Hime shouted from across the room.

"No, you dimwitted dreamer…! This is a challenge between my equal and I so it doesn't include you." Ayako turned her back to Hime.

"What the fuck are you suggesting huh? I didn't even understand what you were saying just now! Who says dimwitted dreamer anyway!?" Hime shot back. The two engaged in a violently verbal quarrel with lots of swear words. Luckily, the teacher was listening to his iPod like all the cliché animes are since there never seems to be an opposing authority to the class.

While the two were fighting, Inui already took out the containers…that had a red skull with crossbones on the side. Only Hina noticed because she sat next to him. "Are you insane? There's absolutely no way I'm going to try that poison!" Hina paled at the sight of the ominous drink.

"Oh it's not poison." Inui chuckled darkly. "It's a special kind of drink, the one I mentioned before. It's sure to strengthen your body. Try some," Inui opened the bottle and slowly handed it to Hina.

Hina laughed nervously and scooted until she was at the edge of her seat. By this time, her best friend and her rival finally noticed the drink. Their eyes glinted in desire to beat the other so they fought for it. Hime was the one who stole it from Inui's hand and put it to her lips but Ayako snatched it before she could drink it.

Both played a small little game of tug-of-war-with-Inui's-poison (Oh wait, its drink, honestly!). Hina irritably glanced at the two fighting over a stupid bottle filled with questionable substances.

"Stop playing around, class isn't over yet." The teacher tried to say but everyone paid attention to the commotion rather than the lesson (cause teenagers always look for distractions). He decided not to try anymore and announced free study but no one paid any attention.

Hina finally snapped. "Just don't drink it!" She forcibly flung the container in the air and as it descended, it splashed all over Inui. Total silence filled the room for just a moment as they processed into their tiny minds on what just happened. Then they all exploded in laughter.

Hina sighed and mumbled a quiet sorry to Inui and then handed him a towel. Inui's face was slightly disappointed that no one was able to drink his latest creation…at least for that day.

"Hello everybody, the king has arrived!" Ren arrived, sparkling in charisma that would put a pixie to shame.

Everyone stared at him. He just basked in his own limelight and strutted (yes, he struts!) towards the tall protagonist with thick TV-like glasses.

"Thick-TV-Glasses-kun, I challenge you to a tennis match! It will be a battle of epic proportions…next week! Be there or be prepared for me taking all the glory from a chicken-loser." Ren flipped his hair in a charming fashion.

Inui flipped through his notebook and began to read right off of it, "Sato Ren: Above average physical abilities, seldom seen training, more boasting yet losing to many of the regulars. Has only one sister: Sato Hina and an average household…" He read a few more things but not much about his tennis style.

Ren just brushed it off, "Hah! Who cares if you know what underwear I'm wearing right now or that I secretly love peeping when my sister's friend is over-…" Ren started.

"WHAT…?" Hina shouted, angry.

"-…I'll still win!" He finished as though he was never interrupted and then left in a flash. Inui just acted normal, writing down the date in his notebook as if he accepted it without hesitating.

"I think I'll use him for my next drink…" Inui grinned. Hina shivered. She just knew that Inui was plotting something.

"Inui-sama's so wet…I want to lick him clean…" Hime starred with flushed cheeks and a fresh set of drool.

Hina slapped her friend out of her trance and then ran out of the classroom with her. Ayako, who stayed behind, helped the teacher with grading papers. She found out that her rival beat her in the test.

It was a hectic day. My friend wouldn't stop telling me about her dreams with Inui. She wanted to run around in Candy Mountain and eat long gummy worms until their lips finally meet…UUUGH! EEEWW! I think I'm scarred for life now. The good news is that I am still "battling" it out with my rival. People ask me lots of times why I stay with those two. They just don't understand…

Also, my stupid older brother embarrassed me today by being a total jerk-face and asking Inui-san to a match! That guy is so creepy! He's still training like crazy at home. He's lifting dumbbells even when brushing his teeth! He also does forty push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and more dumbbells before bed. I told him he's gonna hurt tomorrow but he said that he was SOOO AWESOME that he'll double it up tomorrow. What an idiot…

"I'm so much better than you." A small girl said to another with a huge frown on her face.

The other bored girl looked up and merely stated that only recent tests can prove that and that she was currently at the top.

"No, it's me!" The girl ran away in a storm, throwing down the other girl's book before leaving.

The bookworm picked up the book and huffed, "What an idiot. STUPID GIRL! Meany." She muttered. She was considered bright compared to the other students, the teachers encouraged her to move up a grade and she did consider it. "She's just stupid…" She said, walking down the halls of her elementary school for her twin brother.

"Hey Hina-worm!" one child cried out. Hina turned around to see three girls huddling up. They threw rocks at Hina, giggling as they went. "We don't need a smarty pants!" or "It's because of you, my mommy wants me to work harder! DIE!"

Such harsh words from little kids…

Hina ran away but the bullies wouldn't give up. They followed her and continued to throw the hard rocks at her. Then, from the bushes, came out this weird shaped monkey! Oh wait…that was Hina's brother, Ren.

"No one hurts my sis!" He exclaimed, jumping on top of them and catching them by surprise. They fought a battle that was an epic fail. Ren had lost right after the second punch and stated crying for his mommy. The girls felt so bad that they muttered a sorry and left.

"Men are supposed to be tough, you know." Hina helped her brother up.

"I AM TOUGH! I'm the manliest of men! I drove away those girls with my tears of terror!" He huffed, wiping away his tears.

"Right, idiot… Let's just go home and let mommy kiss your booboos." She patted his head. "Thanks for being kind of cool…for a moment though." She whispered, smiling.

"Huh…? What did you say?" He asked, eyes glittering at a direct praise.

"I-I said…let's play tennis together. It's always fun playing with you." She smiled.

"Okay!" He grinned.

"WAIT!"

Hina and Ren turned around to see the girl before, the one who threw Hina's book down. "You have a weak brother!" She grinned.

Hina ran to the other girl and hit her. "My brother is the best! I don't care what you say about me, Ayako, but if you say one bad thing about Ren, I'll hit you again!" Hina glared.

The other girl stood up once again and glared back. "I'm sick and tired of you looking better than me. It's only natural to tell a second-rate commoner their place." The girl lifted up her fists.

"Hey, Ren, go back home. Tell mom I'll be a little late." Hina held her clenched fists up. Ren, unsure of whether or not to leave his sister, simply stood there.

"I don't know why you keep picking on me, Ayako, but it's just mean! You've always been a bully!" Hina exclaimed.

"Shut up! You don't know what it's like living with expectations!" Ayako slapped her. Hina dropped her fists.

"I know…" She sniveled, boogers coming out of her nose and tears falling down like hoses. "I-I already know! It's you who doesn't understand how I feel!" Hina ran away bawling her eyes out.

Ren stayed behind and then glared at Ayako. "I may not be smart like Hina or you but I do know that my sister knows how you feel. Always…she's always being pushed by papa…uh…I think I have to go…" Ren walked away, leaving Ayako with a gloomy atmosphere.

Hina was at home, and then she saw her dad. He was big and tough-looking with a scar across his cheek from a fishing incident. He stood straight and tall with glowing glory in the courts and talked as loud as a siren. "Hina, why are you late? We have to practice. Your strokes are very bad but you seem to do better when you tag-team with Ren. Now get into position." He ordered.

Hina miserably dragged her feet to the left-hand corner of their personal tennis court.

"Before Ren returns, start practicing on your serve."

"Yeah…"

Her father never asked about her red eyes.

"Daddy, before we start, can I have cookies? Mom should have some…" Hina peered inside the house. She was surprised that her mother wasn't standing there with her usual smile and welcoming Hina.

"Your mother…isn't here…she won't be coming back." Her father frowned. He clenched his racquet. "She's not in this world anymore."

"So she went to space?" Hina asked.

"Hurry up and practice your serving!" He yelled with anger infused like a dangerous rumbling thunder. The terrified Hina practiced on her serve just like her father told her to just so he could calm down and answer her question.

Hina returned to school the next day with Ren. Ayako was standing in front of the school doors waiting for Hina. Hina stood in front of Ayako while Ren raised his fists. "Don't start attacking my sister!" he said defensively.

Ayako smiled. "Why would I want to do that? It wouldn't be fun so…Hina, I challenge you to a rivalry game. Whoever wins three consecutive times is proven to be ultimate god!"Hina laughed like a maniac. She saw it on TV and the TV box was always right!

Hina smiled. "Okay…but are you sure? I might win three times and it'll be over really quick." Hina said nonchalantly as she walked passed Ayako to get to class.

"What are you talking about!? It's the other way around!" Ayako shouted, following Hina. She continued to blab out a thousand challenges to do.

"Ha-ha, thanks for that…" Hina whispered very quietly.

"Why isn't the sky a more than one interesting color? Why can't it be rainbow-colored? Why is the grass green? It should be purple or yellow with blue tips. Bunnies should die and frogs should turn into giant aliens instead of princes." The new girl, Hime, transferred a few weeks after Ayako became Hina's rival.

She was very cute but so very weird. No girl stood near her and no guy could talk to her. As luck would have it, Hime sat right next to the weirdo.

"Why do we go to school? They say it's to get us a job but what if some of us can live by ourselves in the woods as subsistence farmers? Then we wouldn't have to worry about incomes and tax. We could just live freely in a natural world." Hime rambled on to Hina. She didn't understand some of the words.

Hina listened to every word. Hime always said something that was funny and happy. Of course some weird phrases would be said but all in all, Hime was just misunderstood. Sure she said weird things but it was more like she was conjuring up stories from her questions to make answers then there were moments when Hina wondered who raised Hime to be the weird yet nice child she was.

"When people's eyes turn red, they stayed up all night watching TV or the devil possessed their soul! But you can't be a devil, you're too nice." Hime smiled.

Hina smiled as well, for once, she was kind of glad for crying last night. "I see…My eyes turned red last night because a demon visited my home." Hina exclaimed. Hime's stories seemed to have affected Hina. "Its attempts have always succeeded in putting me into a cage. It forced me to play games and I stayed up all night so I'm kind of sleepy." Hina yawned to exaggerate her story. Hime listened with full concentration. Her enthusiasm for Hina's story showed in her expecting smile.

"It does it every night ever since his angel died…" Hina's vision went hazy and the tears formed slowly. "The devil drinks every night and holds on to the games he plays but a part of him already died…and his two doggies aren't so well either…" Hina continued. More of her tears streamed down her cheeks.

"But the doggies shouldn't cry because the angel always told them that the devil never hated them, the devil is just not used to being with others. One of the doggies didn't notice until later when she found a friend. The friend cheered up the doggie. It was so happy that it cried and won't cry anymore." Hina finished. Boogers dripped from her nose, mixed with her tears.

Hime laughed at her. "Ha-ha, you tell weird stories." Hime helped clean up Hina especially with the boogers. Hime had never seen so much flow out!

Hina laughed along with her after she washed her face. "And that's coming from the weirdo!" Hina hugged her.

Day 2: My Dream and a Weird Day

For some reason, I had a strange dream about my childhood and it made me think…

I never considered breaking my rivalry with Ayako, never considered to leave Hime, and I certainly always considered my brother to be my hero.

Other than that, today…

Hina sat at her usual spot with Inui right next to her but something was different. Inui wasn't wearing glasses…and he looked exceedingly hot without them. That was a definite warning bell.

"Where are your glasses?" Hina asked, her cheeks blossoming into a fine scarlet color and her heart beating a mile a minute like some crazy obsessed teenage fan girl who fell in lust at first sight.

"For some reason, I can see perfectly fine without them. This may be due to the side-effects of my juice that was landed on me yesterday but these effects are only temporary. There's a 96% chance I'll be back to normal by the next week or so…" He droned on but Hina cut off everything else he was saying.

She felt her eyes wandering. Inui never looked so hot before…so sexy in that uniform. It wasn't until Hime's usual paper airplane came that Hina stopped staring at him. Hina opened the message, fully expecting it to say the same thing but her eyes widened at the content.

"I don't like Inui-chan anymore. He's too dull without his glasses. You can have him. –love Hime."

Hina didn't understand. Her friend practically called Inui her prince of veggies (for the type of juice he brings to class every day which never was appealing). She even planned out their wedding and how they wanted to open a small restaurant with their twelve-or-something kids and a frog named poodle.

But then again…Hina could have the new and improved sexy version of Inui…so it wasn't all that bad.

"Hina, are you staring at Inui-san?" Ayako called Hina out after class. Hina shook her head but when Inui passed by, she proved herself wrong with all the drooling. Ayako shook in disgust.

"I…like…him too…" Ayako almost choked the words out. "So I'll definitely win his heart!" She stated with more confidence though that wavered when she saw Inui grinning at his new concoction.

Hina shrugged and allowed her to do just that. After all, she knew Ayako just used it as an excuse for another challenge.

It was bizarre. Everything about Inui, I seemed to like a bit too much. I couldn't believe a few days ago I was scared of him and now I like him? It's illogical, life doesn't work that way! This isn't Romeo and Juliet and I'm definitely not going to be like what Hime planned to do.

I slapped myself when I got home and put ice packs on my brother (The idiot's muscles "don't work"). Now I have to deal with Ayako. I know she doesn't like Inui (he's mine anyway).

Then there's Hime. What's wrong with her? I thought she'd be overjoyed by his sexy meter skyrocketing. I guess not all things work out as you'd think.

1 week later: The Epic-Fail Match

It's been a week and I'm still thinking about that bastard (who's a sexy beast). AHHHH, my hands are sneaking in weird words (like how the way Inui drinks his venom is suddenly hot). ANYWAY, today was the day of the match…

Hina was at the courts for the promised match. It was crowded with girls that weren't for Tezuka, Fuji, or Ryoma, much to Hina's surprise. Hina had to push her way towards the courts. Her brother and Inui were on each end of the court.

"Hina, you're here! You can watch me kick his butt then!" Ren grinned.

"Like Inui-sama would lose to you!" the crowd of girls shouted.

While that was going on, Inui wrote in his notebook muttering, "One of the side effects of Special Deluxe Grand Golden Veggie Supreme 2.0 is increasing pheromones…"

For a second, Hina drowned out her brother and Inui's increasing fans to just stare at Inui. Even his writing became graceful. Then, without thought, Hina shouted, "Inui, I'll tag-team with my brother Ren and you can tag-team with anyone of your choice! If we win, you have to go out with me but if we lose…" Hina proclaimed with assurance, "You can decide what to do with my body."

Inui's face grinned at this in an evil mad scientist sort of way. "Inui juice experimentation…" he mumbled happily under his breath. He was thrilled at the thought of gaining a free test subject.

"Whoa, wait Hina, what if we lose…?" Ren asked, concerned.

"Shut it, Ren! Aren't you supposed to be awesome!? You get your lazy bum moving and win this match!" She told him. Ren got more pumped up when she asked if he was 'super awesome'. Of course he replied with a 'heck yes'!

Inui only needed a minute to get someone – it was Fuji. Fuji seemed to be hanging around with a few other regulars. Ren was a bit more hesitant and unsure about the match. He told Hina about this and she quickly asked if he was man enough to do it. Of course, Ren's worry flew away and he boiled with determination.

At the sidelines, her rival and her best friend were at the other side of the fence, watching.

Back on court, the Ren-Hina pair was allowed to serve first (Fuji allowed them to be first and Inui agreed since they wanted the other team to have some sort of advantage).

Hina bounced the ball a few times, very slowly. She was staring at Inui too much. In fact, her nose started to bleed. "Hina, go up to net!" Ren took the ball and switched places so the dang match would start already.

Ren served without hesitation and stayed at the back. Hina was drooling over Inui to notice the return from Fuji but Ren wouldn't let them gain the first point so easily. He used two hands to aim at the right-hand end corner. Inui, being in the back, returned it easily. Ren saw a chance to gain a point and hit it at the empty left court.

"Fifteen love!" Hime announced. Ayako stared at her.

"Fifteen love…?" She asked.

"It's the score. Each point earned is fifteen points and it goes all the way to the fourth point. Usually it goes from fifteen to thirty to forty five but nowadays, the third point is called just forty. And if it's forty-forty, it's called a deuce so whoever scores two points consecutively wins the game." Hime replied.

"How do you know so much?" Ayako asked.

Hime stared at a dazed Hina giggling happily to herself. "Hina…played tennis before…she taught her brother how to play so they could play together but he became better than her so they don't play anymore."

Back at the field, Ren pushed himself further since Hina was basically dead weight. Inui and Fuji scored two points ahead and were leading. Ren wasn't tired but he knew if he used too much energy for the beginning that he wouldn't last till the end.

"Help me for once, stupid Hina!" He shouted. Hina vaguely looked in his direction and nodded then went back to staring at Inui's face. Ren grunted in frustration, he'd never felt so irritated at his sister so much before.

"Fine, sit there like a stupid drunkard." Ren forced himself to not move around as much, to preserve his energy. Though, it was tough. He wasn't Tezuka or a regular, he knew that much. Yet he wanted to win. It wasn't about the penalty or beating Inui specifically anymore. Right when his sister stepped on court, he wanted to play with her.

Unfortunately, she stood on the court love-struck by a guy who she thought was very creepy about a week ago. It was two games later before Hina really started to play. It happened like a comet passing by. Fuji had hit the ball and aimed it pass Hina as usual but Hina broke out of her trance. She softly tapped the ball to make it a drop shot.

"Fifteen-forty," Hime shouted.

The crowd went silent. Even Fuji and Inui began to analyze Hina to make sure she was still the same as the beginning of the match. "Hina…" her brother called out.

"It's okay if you're lesbian." He randomly stated with passion.

"What the hell…? I take pride in being straight! Let's just finish this match so we can go eat some chicken!" Hina grinned. Ren smiled, that was his sister.

Inui and Fuji exchanged glances. They understood that Hina was not the same in the first two games. Inui went to go look through his notes and put back his glasses since everything went really blurry all of a sudden. The girls stopped cheering for "Inui-sama" and went to cheering for "Fuji-sama".

"How sexy…" Hime's nose started bleeding.

"H-Hey, pull yourself together for the game!" Ayako freaked out.

Meanwhile, Hina glanced at her brother and nodded. He smiled and nodded right back. Hina switched places and served softly. Fuji easily returned the slow ball but Ren was in front and he sliced the ball. Ren scored them another point.

"Thirty-forty,"

Fuji and Inui changed to a more aggressive style now that Hina was in play. Inui's data was inadequate since Ren's style changed from defense to offense and Hina was now part of the equation. Fuji focused solely on Ren but kept an eye on Hina just in case any tricks came out.

Ren-Hina pair was doing well. For a while, they were playing defense and holding it. Fuji and Inui didn't understand why. Hina kept cutting through the sides with her fast footwork and Ren always hit hard with two hands.

But for one instant, Hina hit the ball with an extreme spin. Fuji saw his chance and put on his most famous stance for the Tsubame Gaeshi. When the ball landed on the court, it spun all the way out without bouncing.

Three games to love…

"So this is the genius Fuji Syusuke…" Hina commented quietly. "How do we counter that…?" She wondered.

"Hah! That's easy sis!" He whispered the rest in her ear. Hina rolled her eyes and told him to do whatever he wanted. She thought his plan would never work. After the next serve, Hina returned the ball with a hook to avoid Fuji.

But Fuji, being a prideful genius, accepted Hina's challenge and did another Tsubame Gaeshi. Ren stepped back with the little footwork he had and tripped on his shoelaces. He fell flat on his butt.

Hina sighed, "Fifteen love…" She then walked over to her brother and patted his head. "You're not suited for speed. It's better if you leave Fuji's counters to me." She told him. Ren nodded and headed for the back. "Oh, and remember to catch the cats." She added. Inui and Fuji looked at each other and both asked what she meant by that. Then they stood in silence.

"Let's play!" Ren and Hina shouted in unison.

Inui served and Ren returned. This pattern went on with only Ren returning shots from both Fuji and Inui like in the beginning. Hina stood smack in the center, close to net, but she wasn't dazed. Instead her eyes were on alert, watching the ball like a hawk.

'I've got it…' Hina thought. "Rats lay down flat!" She announced. She let another ball pass by her and Ren's racket hit a good topspin for Fuji's counter. This was when Fuji and Inui both caught on with the 'trap'.

Fuji still did his special counter, Tsubame Gaeshi. Hina could easily see the ball; she had trained her eyes during Ren's rally to catch on to the speed of the ball. She noticed the counter was surprisingly faster and dived to reach it before it landed on the ground.

She missed it.

"Did you see that, Fuji?" Inui asked, pushing up his glasses.

"Saa…the lady is more skilled than I thought but her body wasn't fast enough." Fuji replied.

"It wasn't just that…I suspect a 30% increase of speed if you continue to use that counter each time."

"It's alright. That guy, Sato-kun, might become a regular if one of us wavers. It's special training." Fuji smiled, opening his eyes for an instant.

"I suppose so but 'the special training' should apply to Sato-kun, his sister can't join in unless she takes my position and I don't play…" Inui replied, a bit regretful.

"I would change the aim to Sato-kun but his sister seems to take charge and Sato-kun moves away just in case we decide a lob after she returns it."

"Still…it's best to keep using your counter."

"Saa…didn't you say that eventually, she'll be able to return it?"

"Being the genius that you are, you'll figure something out." Inui smiled, indicating something more. Fuji's smile extended to a grin, fully understanding what he would do once it happened.

The game resumed after their little chit-chat. Inui served right in the middle of the court, expecting the two to bump onto each other. Hina and Ren chased after the ball but Hina changed direction. Hina cut quickly to the side of the court then to the baseline with her speed. Ren aimed for the ball to hit low to force Fuji to come closer to the net.

Fuji smashed the ball in the middle but Hina was there and ready to swing the ball back. Fuji noticed that when Hina returned it, it was perfect for his counter. He smiled widely and used the Tsubame Gaeshi counter.

Once he did, Ren stepped off to the side for Hina charged for it and she hit the ball at the tip of her racket. Though the timing was off so the ball landed on the net. Hina sighed deeply.

Fuji looked at Inui then at his notebook. "Your data tennis is as scary as ever." He commented before Inui served once again.

Hina waited for the chance to once again volley Fuji's counter but right after the serve, Hina noticed it. "Ren, switch…!" Hina shouted, cutting to the back of the court. She noticed that Inui and Fuji switched to side-to-side. She was paranoid on what they would do next. Ren was up to net, ready to attack but Inui gained a point by hitting it towards the edge.

"Forty love!" Hime cried.

Hina sighed and talked to her brother in whispers. "As expected of the Regulars, they're damn good." Hina commented.

"I didn't notice it until now but when you told me to switch, I noticed that usually Fuji is the one attacking and Inui is defending from time to time. I know he's collecting data on us…"

"Who cares, it's not like he can predict anything." Hina shrugged off.

"No, that's wrong. I should know. I was one of the people who played against him when that Echizen kid appeared. I lost…but the only reason I did was because…Inui-san is a wizard!"

Hina smacked him on the head for uttering ridiculous nonsense.

"You and your lame-ass World of Warcraft…" She groaned.

"I was kidding! But I think that Inui-san is a wiz-…" Hina held up her hand in a fist in front of Ren, "He is like a wizard because he was able to predict our moves after analyzing. He's already got data on us, now he's going to start attacking." Ren finished.

"Come on, quit trying to scare me. Inui is really tall but he's probably not that good. I mean, he lost his position. We should focus on Fuji." Hina said.

"You can focus on him. I'll focus on Inui."

"Fine by me,"

After the quick little chat, Inui served. Hina went to a more offense style and decided to hit many of the tennis balls that flew her way. Fuji used his counter, Tsubame Gaeshi, every chance he got. Hina was not able to return it. The stupid ball kept hitting the net yet she made good progress. It got higher each time.

Meanwhile, Inui and Ren stood at the back, occasionally making sure the ball didn't go out.

During the final moments, Hina felt confident that she could return it. She just needed to be a little faster, get her timing right, and smack it! She sliced Inui's return, hoping for Fuji's counter. Fuji gladly sent out his Tsubame Gaeshi counter and Hina readied herself for another dive.

She stretched her arm far, hit it, and…the ball passed the net!

"Good job but it's our win." Fuji quickly rotated his body.

"Fuck." Ren cursed. He stayed at the baseline, fully knowing what Fuji was doing. He knew Fuji intended to use his other counter, Higuma Otoshi, to gain another point. He put two hands on his racket, to force the next point in their favor.

'He kept doing that…in order for me to ignore his other moves…' Hina thought and then rose from her position.

"90% chance that the next point is ours." Inui grinned.

Fuji smiled. "Scary~" He said before stepping out of the way. Inui ran in and smashed the ball right in the middle. It went passed Hina and also passed through Ren as fast as a bullet.

"Game and match, Fuji-Inui pair wins six games to love!" Hime announced. The players shook hands and all said something similar to "good game".

"I'll rise to the top. Just wait, Fuji. I'll steal your spot soon." Ren displayed his broad smile in an attempt to look cool. Hina pinched his arm.

"Saa…sounds interesting. I'll be waiting then." Fuji smiled. Inui's eyes glinted evilly.

"The bet…" He said in a creepy voice while holding out the Penal Tea juice. "Drink up," Inui chuckled.

"Heh, that looks good." Fuji commented.

"U-Um, I h-have to go home. I have to feed my plant some jerky, water my dog, stuff the toilet, clean the fridge, and stuff. ha-ha-ha," Hina ran as far away as possible like the speed of light.

"I-I better help my sister! She needs her wonderful brother's help!" Ren ran away just as fast.

"Saa…you think he'd be that fast during our match…" Fuji chuckled. Inui exhibited slight depression.

"Inui-sama, I'll try it for you!" Hime was quick to be right next to Inui with an ecstatic look.

"Really…?" He perked up and held the horrid drink.

"W-We have to go home…" Ayako grabbed Hime's shirt and dragged her away.

"WAIT! MY INUI-SAMA'S HEAVENLY JUICE…!" Hime cried because of her separation from her veggie prince.

THE MATCH WAS THE GAYEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE. I pledge to never spill Inui's juice on himself (or other people). I pledge that if it does happen again, I will skip school for at least a week because lusting for Inui has made me insane. Plus, I have goose bumps that will last a week. I pledge to keep Hime away from Inui (because she's scaring me now with her desire to drink his juice and make me try it as well). She's also determined to strengthen her stomach by eating chili sauce.

Finally, I pledge to publish this diary and title it "Memories of an Epic Phail" just for laughs since no one is going to believe this crazy story anyway.

Side Story:

"So Inui, where'd your glasses go?" Fuji asked. Inui's glasses were nowhere to be seen and he didn't wear it during the match.

"Actually, I acquired some contacts but they're uncomfortable so I'm switching back." Inui sighed. Now he has to endure an hour of trying to take out his contacts. He was worried that he might have lost his glasses too but they were returned with a note saying to stay away from Hime and a small little cupcake was added.

"You might gain more fan girls." Fuji chuckled. "Just like your girlfriend, Hime-san or Sato-chan."

Inui removed his contacts with ease and switched to his real, thick glasses. "Hime-san…? I like her." Inui confessed. Fuji smiled and passed Inui a sly look.

"So you did have a thing for her…" Fuji started, smile widening.

"She wants to try my juice but Sato-san continually drags her away." Inui sighed, heartbroken.

Damn, he'll never get a willing test subject ever again will he?
