The North returns

Bran and Arya begin to realise they might not be alone after all. Stannis is getting well on his path of taking The North, and when the Boltons learn of the upcoming Stark rebellion, chaos spreads in Westeros. Jon must take his path out of The Night's Watch, if he is to survive.

Hi guys and girls! I'm really into ASOIAF, so I decided I wanted to make a fan fiction! I'm not that great of a writer yet, so don't expect too much. Please review on things I could do better. Anyways, on with the story!

Prologue

He never felt the fourth knife, only the cold. Jon collapsed into the snow, bleeding from his wounds. His devastated black brothers stared at the bleeding boy with sadness, as white snowflakes came slowly down from the sky. At the same time, the black-clothed men spoke, their voices seeming close to trembling: "And now his watch is ended". The watchmen began slowly departing, those with lower ranks surprised that the leadership killed their own Lord Commander. Bowen Marsh remained next to the collapsed body. "I'm sorry, Jon." He muttered. "But you broke your vows. None of us wanted to do this, but The Watch must survive. We cannot fight the Boltons. I hope you understand. I didn't want it to end this way, none of us did. We will try to lead The Watch onto a safe path…" He took a pause for a while, and looked at the body of Jon Snow. "If you were to attack the Boltons, it would have been wise to have Stannis Baratheon on your side. I'm sorry Jon." A few more tears appeared in his eyes. "And now his watch is ended." The steward said and turned away, walking towards his chambers. And now his watch is ended, they had said. And, it really seemed to be. The black-clad bastard lay completely still in the snow. There was nothing left of him. Only a weak, slowly beating heart, pumping his own blood out of his wounds. A weak, whispering breath left his lounges. His watch was ended. He was not dead, but in his conditions a night was not to survive. Out in the snow and cold, that is.

Sorry for the short chapter, but there wasn't really anything more to put in the prologue. There will be more chapters, of course, but only if you review! The next chapter will be much longer and contain Jon, Bran, Sansa, Tyrion and possibly Arya POV.
