Before you read on, just listen. In this chapter Sonic can only run as fast as a regular human. He doesn't have the running shoes yet.

Chapter One: The Story Begins

A boy was laying flat across the top of a tree, looking up at the sky. He wasn't doing anything special, just relaxing. His spiky blue hair was flowing in the wind, and his green eyes glistened in the sunlight. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie with a giant white space down the middle, blue jeans, and an old pair of black shoes. He was 13, turning 14 in two weeks.

His name was Sonic, at least, that's what everyone called him. He never told anyone his real name. Only his teachers and parents knew his real name. Some people thought it was confusing why they called him Sonic. But those people have never seen him run before. He was like a bullet. Once he took off, there was no stopping him. Some people even joked about him being faster than a bullet.

Suddenly, he heard someone call his name from below. "Sonic! Sonic! Come down from there!"

Sonic looked down. It was his mom. "Sonic! Someone is here for you! It's a girl!"

Sonic groaned. It was Amy. He'd known her since he was 5. She was cool to hang out with. Sometimes. She had a major crush on Sonic, and to tell the truth, it was starting to annoy him. Sonic jumped down from the top of the tree and followed his mother into the house. He stopped in the kitchen to grab a glass of Fruit Punch, then he continued towards the door.

A pink-haired girl stood in the doorway. She had a giant smile on her face. She was about the same age as Sonic. "Hi Sonic!"

Sonic smiled weakly. "Hi, Amy." Before Sonic could say anything else, Amy stepped inside the house.

"Guess what?" Amy asked.

Sonic shook his head. "For the last time, we're not getting married."

Amy laughed. "Yes we are! But that's not it."

"So what is it?" Sonic cocked his head.

"I just got my high school application back. I'm going to Sparx High School. Weird name, huh?"

"Not really. I got accepted to that school too."

Amy shrieked. "REALLY? Oh my gosh! We're going to the same school? I think I'm gonna' faint!"

Sonic shook his head again. What's wrong with her? He thought.

Miles and Miles away...

"Come on! Hurry up!" the boy cried out. He was running for his life. A girl ran next to him.

The girl was panting. "Silver, I'm running as fast as I can!"

"Well you're not running fast enough, Blaze!" Silver said.

There was an explosion, and the two teens flew to the ground. A giant robot appeared from the trees of the forest.

Blaze screamed.

So sorry this chapter was short, but I had to go to sleep for school, UGH! This is the reason I didn't finish the Ultimate Ben 10 story. It's because I lost inspiration, then I thought about what if the Sonic characters were human, and this story began. SONIC DOES NOT HAVE HIS RUNNING SHOES YET! HE JUST RUNS FAST, BUT NOT AS FAST AS HE CAN WHEN HES A HEDGEHOG. HE RUNS AS FAST AS A REGULAR HUMAN!
