Description: JD blinked. He finally understood why he liked them.

"JD, man, I don't get you." Turk said him as they both lounged on his couch.

Carla, holding little baby Isabella, walked over and sat down, wanting to hear this.

"Get what?" JD asked him.

"Your love life! Think about it, the current person your dating is the janitor! You know, the one who had it out for you for the past six years! And the last one was Dr. Cox!" John Dorian's best friend exclaimed. "It's not like I have a problem with your homosexuality, it's just, I have a problem with the people you are currently and have gone out with. They both have a god complex personality, both of them mess with you, and both of them are alcoholics!" Turk explained.

JD blinked and thought about it. Why did he like the janitor? What did he see in Perry? He doesn't like the rough side in woman, but why in men?

He exhaled in exasperation. This was so confusing.

He liked the Janitor because he did have a nice side, and a very funny side too. In fact, he almost completely stopped messing with him after they started seeing each other. But, the janitor did drink occasionally, and has gone to work drunk several times (even though he is absolutely adorable drunk). And yeah, he does still pick on him and such.

He liked Perry because he was attracted by the man's dominant attitude. After he and Jordan temporally broke up; for some reason, JD found the man more irresistible than ever. Yeah, he was pretty much half drunk throughout their short-lived relationship, but he still found it meaningful. He found Perry's rants adorable at times (unless they were filled with really big words and were intended on making him feel really bad), and found that his once father-son relationship grew more and more between them.

But that relationship ended several weeks later when Dr. Cox had found that he was unable to commit with his protégé and the fact that JD was just unable to commit in general. Now there relationship is back to the usual love-hate and father-son type.

JD blinked. He finally understood why he liked them.

He liked their dominant demeanor. He liked that he didn't have to be the man in the relationship. He liked that, yeah, they were stronger than he was.

He didn't quite understand why, but that was why he liked them.

Doctor Dorian cracked a smile and looked at his friend; "I don't know why, either." He admitted with a slightly humorous tone in his voice.
