A cold breeze blew against my face as I took my first step down on the wooden bridge. I looked back on the majestic ship that had taken me across the ocean to this new land. The captain noticed me and offered me a slight smile and a wave as I departed towards the rocky Cliffside and small wooden houses in front of me. It had taken me weeks to finally arrive to Solitude in Skyrim and that was all well for I was tired.

I adjusted the sack I carried over my shoulder with a grunt and spotted a beautiful argonian woman. I smile crept over my face as I had a wild fascination with these strange races. She seemed to be working on the docks and had yet to notice me. Slowly I walked forward, being careful not to alarm her. As I was but inches from her she looked up and spotted me. A frightened expression formed on her face as she eyed me up and down

''Help!'' She suddenly yelled and threw away everything she was working with and ran towards one of the nearby houses. I simply stood there, feeling insulted and a bit hurt. I knew I looked different but she had no reason to flee. That was rude. As I was about to be on my way a guard approached me. He was dressed in red and grey and wore the Solitude wolf on his wooden shield. ''You there, stop!'' he shouted towards me with his blade drawn. I froze solid in fear. The guardsman stopped in front of me and eyed me up and down from underneath his helmet. I could feel his gaze penetrate my body. ''We have had a report of disturbance down here at the docks. Do you know anything about it?!'' I was hesitant to speak. I was completely new in this land and was unsure of their ways. ''Well, speak!'' demanded the guard. I had no choices. I braced myself and let out a rattle. The guard started shaking with fear as he looked at me ''You…you are a…a..a'' Suddenly the argonian returned and pointed at me ''He is a spooky scary skeleton!'' I shrugged back! They knew! Suddenly more guardsmen and dockworkers stormed out from the houses and looked at me ''Help! Spook!'' They all yelled as some of them fumbled after their steel. I dropped my sack and started to run! I had to get out of here before they killed me!

I ran upwards, up the hills as a horde of people chased me with knives, torches and maces. ''Kill it before it spooks us solid!'' one yelled. ''Kill it and take its gold!'' another one shouted. I spotted a windmill and turned my course there, hoping that some kind stranger would save me. I ran past an old man with long, grey beard. He screamed in fear and tossed himself from a cliff in sheer terror with the words ''the gods have spooped us!'' ringing from his mouth as he fell to a certain death. The horde started to catch up to me now, my brittle bones too weary to go on. I could hear them scream just around the corner of a Cliffside when a strong hand suddenly grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me into a bush. I rattled in surprise as the harsh leaves rustled against my white bones. ''Shh'' shushed a voice just inches from my skull. It sounded strangely feminine. I stayed completely still as I heard the angry mob charge up the hill, just barely a meter from the bush I was on. Seconds passed. Minutes passed and all was silent.

When my savior assumed it was safe she pushed herself out of the bush, dragging my along and in that moment I first laid my non-existent eyes upon her. In the rays of the setting sun her snow-powder white skin shined and her beautiful red hair stood out in contrast. She was wearing a simple tunica with a necklace decorated with animal teeth. Her brown, penetrating eyes looked down upon me and her red painted lips parted into a grin ''you are not from around here, are you?''
