Chapter 1: The Screams from the woods
Percy's POV
"Annabeth!" I screamed as I ran to where the screams of the Athenian daughter were coming from. I jumped rocks and dove past trees till I saw her standing in front of another blond figure. As I got closer, I saw it was Luke. Damn it, I can't save Annabeth without fighting Luke. But this all changed when I got closer and saw the two of them kissing. I dropped to my knees. After almost six months after our first date, she finds someone else, who I might just remind you it a traitor ever since the Second Titan war! I raced off back to my cabin. I sat on my bed, and thought for several hours before falling asleep.
Annabeth's POV
"What was I doing?" I thought to myself. Luke had just wooed me over. It's like he had taken over my body. I thought I was cursed, but someone forced that thought out. Luke started to flirt with me, then he leaned in for a kiss. I had to say no, but I wasn't in control of my body. I kept screaming, but nobody came. He kissed me, then I saw someone dash away. That was not a good sign. Luke suddenly put a sack over my head and pushed me into the water.
"What the hell!?" I screamed. Luke didn't bother about me.
"Go ahead, drown. It'll make that Percy who just saw us not have to kill you himself."
I spat out water and tried to swim up, but the currents were to strong. I fell back in the water and began to drown. I wasn't going to make it.
Percy's POV
"Oh, no." I thought. I have to find Annabeth.
