It was wonderful and weightless at first.
Just two people falling in love.
Now, it was harder to hold on to.
His arms tightened around his lover as he trembled.
"Make it stop! Make it stop! Make it stop!" Became Antonio's nearly endless chant.
Lovino murmured, "It's over now."
Antonio screamed in to Lovino's chest as another torrent of tears fell.
Lovino unconsciously wrapped his arms tighter around Antonio than before.
"It won't go away! They're dying, Lovi!" His tearful scream broke the younger man's heart.
"They aren't dying. They will be okay." Lovino hated lying to Antonio.
"You're sure?" Antonio asked hopefully while he sniffled; his crying fit had ledt his face messy with tears and snot.
"Yeah." Lovino tugged the other man closer.
Antonio curled up against his younger lover as he calmed down and slept.
Lovino sighed and stayed up as he couldn't fall asleep; he was severely sleep deprived from this occuring most nights.
Antonio had 'nightly visions;' they were always tragic and were reported on the news the next day.
Antonio could not watch the news anymore as it had became too personal for him.
Lovino wasn't sure how Antonio could put a smile on his face everyday when he was haunted by tragic events almost every night.
He did say that this had always happened to him, so may be the normalcy of it made for plenty of practice at looking cheerful.
Lovino knew that loving Antonio wasn't easy, but he had already fallen in love with the other and was willing to put up with the many sleepless nights that he'd have to endure.
