The God of Heroes
-3rd person-
On Mount Olympus you could hear the sounds of screaming. The sounds echoed through the halls of Olympus. Apollo, the god of medicine, poetry and music, and Artemis the goddess of the hunt, maidens and childbirth were delivering a baby.
Hestia the goddess of the hearth was given birth to the child of Poseidon. It must have felt like days to the goddess but it had only taken a few hours for the god-ling to be born.
"Congratulations Aunt Hestia" said Apollo "it's a boy". Hestia smiled contentedly as she looked upon her child in Apollo's arms.
Artemis exited the room to get Poseidon because he couldn't handle seeing his lover is such pain. Of course I'm sure the dilating had something to do with it.
-Poseidon POV-
He was pacing outside the room anxious for the birth of his child and for his lovers pain to end. When the screams subsided he looked towards the door anxious to know of the health and state of the child and his lover.
He looked as Artemis come out of the room and said" Uncle, you have a son."
He quickly moved past her into the room to see his lover and son. He quickly moved toward Hestia to make sure that she and the baby were alright.
His son's eyes were closed, of course, so the eye color was impossible to identify but his hair color on the other hand was easy since he had a tuff of black hair like his father.
"So Hestia dear did you decide on a name or should I do the honors?" asked Poseidon.
"Really, what did you have in mind?" asked a somewhat tired Hestia.
"Well what do you think of the name Arkantos?"Asked Poseidon.
"It's a good name but I really can't imagine calling my son that. Anything else?"Asked Hestia.
"Well if you didn't like that one it is unlikely that you will like one of the rest. Do you have any names in mind?" asked bemused Poseidon who couldn't figure out why she didn't like what to him was a perfectly good name.
"What do you think of the name Perseus?"asked Hestia.
"Perseus? Yes, yes I like it. It's a good strong name. I'm sure with a name like that our son will be very heroic in the future."
-Unknown POV-
He felt that power of the god-ling the moment it was born. "Such powerful children cannot be allowed to be born! I will need to find a way to make sure no more children are born between those two. No matter what!"
