Well, here I am with another Seto/Serenity poem. Surprisingly, however, this one has no angst. o.O What the heck's wrong with me?! Anyway, I was just sitting in my room drawing when this idea suddenly struck me like a piano falling out of an upper story window and landing on some random poor sap wandering the streets. Enjoy! : )

Just a couple notes about the POVs:

Italics mean it's Serenity's POV

Regular script means it's Seto's POV

-----

Wind whispers through the trees
Talking of the scene before them
The secret union of you and me
Two opposing forces

You are darkness, tall and proud
Eyes of ice set in eternal frown
I am light, or so it would seem
With my innocent eyes of green

You take my hand and smile for me
Kiss my hand and slip on my ring
I smile back and do the same
Love in my heart, but aslo shame

I always thought it'd turn out all right
My brother would join me on my wedding night
But I'd rather have you here and him appalled
Because you are my one. You are my all.

And whatever comes next, be it good or bad
I'm not afraid with you by my side
I think as I look at you in this quiet night
I've never done something that feels so right

I didn't think it was possible for me to fall so fast
I didn't think I'd fall for someone at all
But here and now, I can say I'm glad
That you showed up and proved me wrong

You gave me hope, you made me smile
You led me through the dark
With me promising all the while
I'd never let us be torn apart

Here, under the witness of moon and stars
We say our words and recite our vows
As it comes to a close, I smile at the thought
I've kept that promise from then till now

Kiss the bride,' the priest states
I do so with a loving smile
I brush some hair from off your face
Serenity Kaiba' just sounds so right

We head home now, man and wife
It all seems like a dream
But my ring portrays that it was indeed
As wonderful as it seemed.

Well, how was it? Tell me my flaws so I can improve! Thank you! ; ) Bye!
