Chapter One:

A five year old Troy Alexander Bolton and Gabriella Anne Montez were playing in the Bolton's backyard. They have known each other since they were three when their parents introduced them to each other, along with Chad Danforth, Zeke Baylor, Jason Cross, Ryan Evans, Taylor McKessie, Sharpay Evans, Kelsi Neilson and Martha Cox. Sure, they were not the closest with each other, but they did not ignore each other when they were alone. Troy was playing with his toy basketball while Gabriella was playing with her new Barbie doll that her Dad bought for her. Gabriella has just finished putting high heels on her new doll when suddenly Troy's basketball came flying and crashed into her doll.

"MY BALL!" Troy shouted.

He rushed in front of Gabriella and found his basketball, only to find that it was broken. When the ball came flying, it crashed into the Barbie doll and its heels tore the plastic apart. While the ball was broken since all the air came out, the Barbie doll landed on the grass, covered with dirt.

"GRACIE!" Gabriella screamed.

The two of them started sobbing and crying and yelling at each other. Both of them were holding their toys. They glared at each other with tears spilling from their eyes.

"YOU! YOUR STUPID DOLL KILLED MY BALLY!" Troy cried.

"GRACIE ISN'T STUPID! SHE DID NOT KILL YOUR BALL!" Gabriella retorted.

"DID TOO!"

"DID NOT!"

"DID TOO!"

"DID NOT!"

They kept fighting and arguing until their parents came and found them pushing each other and covered with mud.

"Oh my, what happened?" Mrs. Bolton asked.

"SHE KILLED MY BALLY!" Troy said, pointing an accusing at Gabriella.

"NO, HE MADE MY GRACIE DIRTY!" Gabriella screeched.

Maria Montez and Lucille Bolton looked at each other and sighed. They brought their children to the bathroom and made them take a bath to clean the mud.

"Now, the two of you must apologize to each other. What happened was an accident," Mrs. Montez explained.

The two children glared at each other and hesitated, but decided to do what their Moms said when they saw the fierce look on their faces.

"Sorry," They mumbled.

The mothers smiled at their children and went to grab their towels and clothes, only to find that they forgot to take them.

"Now, Auntie Lucille and I are going to take your clothes and towels for you. Promise not to fight when we leave, okay?" Maria said.

"Yes Mommy/Auntie Maria."

As soon as the two women left the room, the two kids glared at each other and crossed their arms.

"I hate you," They said

As I promised, this is the prequel I was talking about. Sorry if this came out too late though!
