Late at night, flittering threw the trees to his destination, was an alert fire/koorime demon, Hiei. Dreams haunted him that night; he saw his friend, as if in the tournament so many years ago, only not breathing. A tall masked figure's laugh only clouded his mind.
But who can decide what they dream?
And dream I do.
He felt some terrible feeling flood over him; a feeling he could not quite put his finger on. He swore he heard his friend scream; thats what woke him up, not the dreams, he knew the dream was just a dream.
He reached the pine he raced so quickly to get to outside the Minamino residence. He glanced inside to see no one. To make sure he jumped to the window and tapped on the glass... no answer.
"Kurama."

He raced as fast as he could, trying to find the slightest hing of the Spirit Kistune's energy. He caught just enough and followed the trail into the woods. There in the clearing he found his friend.
Kurama noticed the demon standing behind him. He truned around and smiled. "You look worried, Hiei, come sit," he patted the ground, "tell me whats wrong." Hiei did as he ws told by the elder demon he grew to respect.
Kurama leaned over and put his hand on Hiei's with a light touch and stared into his garnet colored eyes, "What's wrong?"
You saw me mourning my love for you,
And touched my hand,
Hiei stared into Kurama's green eyes.
I knew you loved me then.
"I had a dream about you in teh dark tournament against Karasu. He killed you, i just wanted to come tell you... that's all."
Kurama smirked, "I see, well I'm glad you came to tell me."
"Why weren'nt you in your room?"
"I wanted to come out and see the stars."
"Oh... fox?"
"Yes?"
"Don't do that again, you scared me."

"I'm sorry Hiei."
"It's fine." Hiei got up and started to walk away but Kurama got up and draped his arms around Hiei's shoulders then pulled him closer.
"No, it's not fine, i must make it up to you some how." Kurama's eyes gleamed gold for a moment and Hiei turned around a bit to see him. Kurama kissed Hiei's left cheek. Hiei looked down at the ground then back up at Kurama.
I look in the mirror and see your face,
If I look deep enough,
"Fox... I think I... love you."
So many things inside that are,
Just like you are taking over me.
"I love you, too, Hiei."
