She was his princess. The way the wind made her hair dance, flames enveloping her face, entranced him. Her emerald eyes sparkled, holding no emotion other than love. A simple circle of daisies sat atop her head, opening and closing like the day they met. Her white gown fit her like a glove, softly rippling among the fall leaves, encrusted in diamonds which could only have been the stars in the bodice. She smiled at him.
But then a dark figure appeared. Cloaked in darkness, his object of torture twirling beneath teh billowing robes. He was aparlyzed. His tongue would not utter spells, his hands could not push, his feet would not jump. There was a flash of green light. She was gone. He could not save her.
With nothing left, the cursed word haunted his ears forever more. The word that forced him into the darkness but also plunged him into the light until he met his end.
