So, this is my new collection of one shots to make up for the lack of updates on my other stories. This one is about an Enderdragon. Will be kinda short.

Ender stiffened, her deep violet eyes widening. She spread her large black wings and took off, soaring above the End.

Another player was here. And the Enderdragon knew that every player that entered her realm could be the one that would end her life.

Either that, or she would be forced to end its life.

She spotted the player, standing fearlessly on the obsidian platform in full diamond armor and wielding a diamond sword, the blade glowing with an unknown enchantment. Gulp.

The player took out a bow, also enchanted, and aimed. It let the arrow loose, and it hit one of the crystals that supplied her regenerative healing. One by one, the player shot the crystals, then finally aimed an arrow at Ender.

She snapped awake at this, and flew towards the player, breathing out purple fire that burnt the bow, rendering it useless. The player unsheathed its diamond sword and Ender lashed out with her spiky tail, smacking the player and knocking it to the ground, and it rolled over the spongy Endstone. It's health was down by three hearts, seven more to go...

Sigh.

As the battle went on, Ender thought.

She had never wanted to be a killer. She had always been a peaceful dragon, more fit for frolicking in fields and accidentally setting fire to the grass sometimes, then quickly stomping it out.

Sigh.

She never wanted to be a fierce, fire-breathing dragon that would kill or be killed. But she had become one anyway. At least on the outside.

But it wasn't like she had a choice. She never had a choice. Her father made all the decisions for her. He had "given" her her own End realm. More like he had forced her into it and sealed the gate to their world, where the deceased enderdragons and the ones who hadnt been "given" their own realm yet lived and thrived.

Sigh.

She still had the memories...

"Ender, such an innocent little dragon," her mom.

"Ender, the wimpy dragon," an Ender-school playground bully.

"Ender, the dragon who is grounded until further notice," Her father.

"Ender, you need to survive. It's either kill or be killed out there," her father again.

And then her father had pushed her through the portal, and the last words she heard were-

"She won't last a minute out there," an unknown voice said. It had a hint of something like pity in It.

Sigh.

The player was down to five hearts. Five to go...

And then she would have another life lost, one to to pity and grieve, because she had killed it.

But again, it wasn't as if she'd ever had a choice.

That was when Ender checked her health, which was very low already. She flapped her wings, breathing a puff of violet flames onto the player, taking away one heart of its health.

Sigh.

Her health was even lower now, and she was almost dead, while the player still had four hearts- steak- wait, no, nine hearts left.

Ender flew down to the player, scratching it with her razor sharp talons. The player hit her mercilessly with that cold, enchanted, diamond sword, and suddenly, a blinding white light filled her vision.

So this is what it feels like to die...

The white soon faded away, warping into colors. The colors of her home. No, not her End Realm, but her real, actual home.

Her father stood in front of her, tears of joy bright in his violet eyes. "Ender?" He asked hopefully.

"Daddy?"she said.

"I'm proud of you, Ender. I really am."

"Really?"

"Yeah. But Ender, you were out there for less than a minute."
