Kirsten Clark and Cameron Goodkin. The perfect couple. They love each other, they just can't see it. Everyone else can, though. Until she stitches into him. She can see herself everywhere in his memories. She can feel the loneliness whenever she's not around him. Every time she touches him, his worries melt. When ever he sees that genuine smile on her face when ever she's around him, it makes him turn into jelly. Every time she looks at him, butterflies start to form in his stomach. She didn't know that was how he felt towards her. The love in his heart for her was so strong. She did not know how she didn't see this before. And when he flat lined for the total 5 minutes, she felt her emotions towards him grow, knowing that the feeling she had was similar (if not the same) as what Cameron felt towards her. When she saw him in the corpse cassette unresponsive to the defibrillator shocks, it broke her. Until she heard his heart beat again. It was one of the happiest things she ever heard. "Get him in to the Med Bay." Maggie said with relief in her voice. "You're lucky he's he did die, I honestly would've killed you. Get out of my lab. NOW!" She said glaring at Les Turner, clearly still in shock after the incident that just took place. He left, with Maggie saying "Now that's one less thing to worry about."

"How is he?" Maggie and Kirsten asked in sink with each other. "He needs some time to rest, but he should be fine. I'll need to do a more thorough check in the morning. His body took quite a beating, so we don't want him going into shock. Someone will need to watch him to make sure he doesn't." "Thank you, Ayo." They both say before she heads out. "I'll say to make sure he's okay." Kirsten tells Maggie. "Okay, but are you going to change first, or are you going to watch him like that?" Maggie reminds her. "I'll be back in 10." Kirsten says, knowing she was right. Kirsten had a hot shower, and got changed into some sweatpants and one of her other sweaters she kept in her locker. She headed back to Cameron's side. "Thanks" she said to Maggie. "No problem" she said to Kirsten before heading out to give them some time alone. He still wasn't up yet, but she was talking to him trying to get him to wake up. She took one of his hands in both of hers. She started drawing circles on his skin, still talking to him.

Two days later...

"Cameron?" Kirsten had felt his hand twitch in both of hers. "Hey Stretch." He said with a slight smile on his face. "Oh my Gosh, Cameron, you scared me. You died. I lost you for 5 minutes. Even though I have TD, stitching into you brought a lot of unknown feelings to me. I saw and felt many things when I stitched into you. When you flat lined, I thought I'd lose you. I don't want to go through that again. Cameron, you've helped me realise this when I stitched into you. Cameron, I love you. And I trust you with all my heart. So don't do anything stupid again. Okay?"

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of this. If you want to talk about your feelings, or what you saw, I'm here. Stitch, I love you too. I love and care for you too much for you to go through this alone. I'm here for you. I'm not going anywhere, and I promise not to do anything foolish again." Cameron said. Seeing her face relax, he shifted further into his bed, making space for Kirsten to hop in too. She put her head on his chest so she could hear his heart beat. Within moments, she was sound asleep, Cameron gently stroking her hair, and kissing her forehead before falling asleep, hand on her hip.
