"Are you sure this is the place?" Bruce anxiously fingered the hilt of his lightsaber and pulled his black cloak farther around his sinewy frame, his messy black hair catching in the frayed seams.
"Patience, my student," his master, Kirigi, placed a bone white hand on his shoulder "I was well informed on the context of this mission, our escort will arrive within the time scheduled."
A halted, sarcastic sounding laugh from behind them almost made Bruce jump, and a heavily accented voice said, "I am no escort mon ami but I promise to at least make our mission as fun as possible yes?" Henri Ducard grinned through his thick, dark brown mustache and his boots made a clunking sound on the metal floor of the loading dock as he came to a stop in front of them. His stomach shook slightly as he laughed.
Bruce rolled his eyes and Henri laughed harder, "Your student does not like my jokes no?" He addressed Kirigi, though he said nothing in return.
"I was told you would be-" His master was cut off by Henri, who waved his dismissively.
"Yes,yes, smuggle you into Separatist base and intercept a weapons transport, a bit boring don't you think?" Henri smirked and motioned for them to follow him "My ship is this way."
"A Salvage Hauler?" Bruce asked, in a tone nearing bewilderment.
Henri waved a finger at him over his shoulder " A Repurposed, Salvaged Hauler," the doors to his ship opened "She is beautiful no?"
Before entering the Salvage Hauler after Henri, Kirigi stopped him, "He does not seem the noble type, and he seems afraid of our mission, I want you to watch him for me," Kirigi paused to glance back at Ducard and added "I want you to consider it a continuation of our lesson in body language."
Bruce nodded, not questioning his master's judgment, Kirigi was an Echani, a race of people that could communicate through combat and could read emotions and body language with an almost terrifying accuracy. If Kirigi had actively voiced a concern with him, Bruce knew he was serious.
