This is my first fic, so bear with me here. Please R&R. Oh, and I'm not going to write battles turn based. They're going to be like real time. Also some rules don't apply, like artillery can move and attack right after one another. And all units can capture bases and cities.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Advance Wars series or any of the characters. The only thing I own in this fic is Dillon, the Orange Star CO that I made up.
Dillon walked through the Allied Forces HQ, looking for Rachel. He had been assigned under her command to help combat Gray Sky, the army that had arised after Black Hole was defeated in Omega Land. Dillon finally arrived at her tent and asked permission to come in, he was granted it and was shown to Rachel.
"Hello, who are you?" She asked.
"My name's Dillon, and I was assigned to help you guys defeat Gray Sky" Dillon replied
"Okay, Let's see how you do in the field, there's been a report of a few Gray Sky units to the East, you get to battle them."
"Awesome, so... what units do they have, and what units do I have?"
"They've got a Md Tank, two regular tanks, a fighter, a bomber, 2 infantry units, and a mech unit. You've got two Md tanks, two fighters, one AA gun, and one infantry unit. That okay?"
"Yeah, it's fine, they're going down."
"I sure hope so."
The next day
"The fools. They think they can defeat us. They don't have a chance" Carmo, a Gray Sky CO muttered when he saw the Orange Star Forces.
Meanwhile, Dillon was deploying his troops.
"Okay, you Md tanks go over there, by our main base. You fighters, into intercept position, one for the other fighter, one for the bomber. AA gun, go for the fighter also. Our infantry, stick by our base and guard it." Dillon ordered
"Yes sir" His units replied.
They moved into their positions and got ready for a battle. Carmo attacked first. He moved his Md tank to attack Dillon's AA gun. It defeated it, and then then his fighter moved in front of the Md tank. Dillon's two fighters moved over to confront Carmo's fighter. They each fired on it, and destroyed it, but not without being damaged themselves, so they joined together. Carmo's Bomber moved in and dropped a bomb on one of Dillon's Md tank, and damaged it. Dillon's base cranked out a regular tank and it moved over to confront Carmo's Md tank. It damaged it, but got destroyed. Dillon's damaged Md tank attacked Carmo's Md tank and damaged it, nearly getting destroyed in the process. Dillon's other Md tank attacked Carmo's Md tank, and destroyed it. Dillon's fighters moved on to his enemie's bomber and obliterated it. Dillon made an artillery and and moved it to attack one of Carmo's tanks. It got destroyed after being fired on twice, and Dillon's two Md tanks joined, and attacked the other tank. It was destroyed as Carmo's mech destroyed Dillon's infantry. The mech captured the base, and the base made a tank. Dillon's Md tank moved over and destroyed the tank, and the artillery moved and destroyed the mech. Now there were only two Gray Sky infantry left. Dillon left his artillery to recapture the base, and made his Md tank move into attack position for one of the infantry. It got obliterated and then Dillon made a tank to destroy the other infantry converging on the base. Once it was destroyed Dillon told his remaining units to capture all cities and bases in sight, and proceed to defend them.
Dillon reported back to Rachel.
"How'd I do?" He asked.
"Pretty good, Pretty good" She replied
